Ending Year 1 @thebridge.movement with a full heart. ❤️

This year has brought me presence, curiosity, and play. It has unleashed a creative force that calls me to take risks and discover. I can trust that my light is worth being shared.

To my directors, @sjtookey @calenjkurka @a.marchisello @heatherblee - Some programs teach you how to dance, some change your life. Congratulations on creating one that does both. I feel so blessed to receive your creative energy and support.

To my fellow first years- Cheers to the first year of becoming who we are meant to be. Growth feels so much more beautiful when it’s shared.

This has truly been the greatest love of all.

My time here at SDC has seen me through many stages of my life, the good and the bad. However, when I walk in the studio I know I’m in a place where I can leave all that at the door. SDC is a place built on love and dedication and I am extremely blessed to have been a part of such an impactful community.

I had the honour of receiving the Christie Metcalfe Scholarship for a dancer pursuing a career in dance. A year ago, I never would’ve dreamed that to be possible, so I want to thank everyone who pushed me this year to go follow my passion.

To my teachers, friends, and most importantly my mom- thank you for your endless support, time, and devotion to my journey as a dancer. I could not be here without you.

And to my grads- you are all stars. I can’t wait to see where our stories lead us. I am so honoured to have shared the stage with all of you.
