joy is not found in the absence of pain, but in the presence of something greater. here is my story!

a few rough years of learning to navigate grief, doubt, fear, anger, and bitterness left me feeling so alone. but God, being rich in love, extended a hand to me and showed me a new way to live.

all this time and all these trials have brought me to something better and someone greater than any hard thing that i can face. i have been anything BUT alone and can find joy in the fact that i have breath in my lungs to proclaim the peace only found in Jesus Christ my savior.

i still cry, i still hurt, and i still experience pain. everyone does. but the joy of the Lord is not circumstantial, and praise God for that. i can count it all joy, because nothing can compare to a life with Jesus. by @mollyzerza
