Pt. 3The final drawings are a series of layers to build the final choreographic score located at the bottom of the page. This is a new method of documenting, a mechanism of being able to document movement in a consistent method. This is a form of communication, for dancers, choreographers, and audience members. It is a method of expressing and recording ballet to preserve it into a language of symbols. by @mololiz

A Language of Ballet -For my senior design studio project I created a language of dance. This language has been created similarly to sheet music where positions and the technicality of the dancers are matched with symbols. The symbols are positions, transitional movement, and music.. all of these components layer into the final score of a choreographic composition. by @mololiz
