The past 24 hours have completely blown me away.

I’m truly amazed by the amount of encouraging comments and shares of @infertilityclub I’ve received.

We all have different paths to parenthood (or for some, the decision not to have children). And when that path veers off in a different direction than you’d imagined, it rocks your entire world. For most of us, it’s something we carry silently, often alone, quietly holding this massive boulder as it weighs increasingly on our hearts.

And, as the saying goes — just because you carry it well doesn’t mean it isn’t heavy.

When we start talking about infertility with others who can relate, it becomes a shared experience and almost immediately lifts some of that weight. Maybe just enough to inject a little much-needed humor about how insane this process can be.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the encouragement, and please continue to share this page with anyone who might — openly or quietly — be a member of the worst club with the best members, @infertilityclub. by @molsonyoung

Some moments make you stop and appreciate the people who have been part of your story. Yesterday was one of them.

I’m incredibly grateful to @power_philadelphia for recognizing me with the Entrepreneur Champion of Change Award.

A special thank you to Molly Shepard for the nomination and for seeing something in my work worthy of this recognition.

And to the wonderful women who took time out of their busy lives to be there with me, you have no idea how much that meant. Seeing your faces in the room was one of the best parts of the day.

I’m in a new chapter of my career, one that’s challenging me in ways I didn’t expect and reminding me just how much possibility there is in trying something new. The work may look different these days, but what matters most to me hasn’t changed: using what I’ve learned and experienced to make a difference in someone else’s life.

To be recognized for that work, especially at this stage of my journey, means a great deal.

Spent 3 days in #Paris with an awesome girlfriend and also a version of myself I hadn’t seen in a while.

She was relaxed, well-dressed, and - dare I say - a damn good time. I really missed her.

In the hustle and bustle of getting married, surviving global pandemic (NBD), managing a busy career, and having two kids, I don’t remember the last time I went away “just because”, and it was an exhale I needed.

No one asking for snacks!
No laptop! (BLESSED)
No schedule!

Truly heaven with a side of good French wine. 🍷 🇫🇷

I am back to my BAU life now which is fabulous too - but I am vowing to visit old me again way sooner. 🥂

And we’re moms so you know we love to sleep. 💤

My @whoop says I got a cool 3.5 hours last night, but c’est la vie.

No time for rest in #Paris with 3 days, so much to see, & beauty literally smacking you in the face from all angles. It is overwhelmingly chic, charming, & all the rest.

Needless to say, @celinedion was a highlight of the trip (and my entire life?!), but there were so many good moments. I could talk about this trip FOREVER.

Merci, Paris! 🇫🇷 🧀 🥂

Making friends as an adult is tricky. Making “mom friends” is even trickier.

This is obvious, but just because you are a mom doesn’t mean that you are going to connect with every other mom. And that’s why, for me, it’s even more magical when I meet another mom who I really align with.

When I started hosting Work. Life. Motherhood events, I met McKenna, and it was clear we were kindred spirits. When we discovered a mutual love of @celinedion, we joked about how we should go to Paris to see her in concert…and then we got tickets to do the damn thing.

I went back through our texts and found this one which just says it all. She asked if we should buy tickets, and my response was a millennial-coded “YOLO.” That is modern mom friendship for real.

If you didn’t know, there’s a phenomenon with flamingos 🦩 where they lose their pink color as they are giving nutrients and support to their young babies. As their chicks get more independent, their pink color comes back. I see this trip as a biiiiiiig streak of pink for me. 🩷

We leave next week, and I could not be more excited and thankful to be able to do this with my girl @molsonyoung. 👩🏻‍🐰‍👩🏼

✨This is SEVEN! ✨Ella, you amaze us every day and we are so proud of the girl you’re becoming — someone who makes friends with everyone and makes people feel included, loves her little brother fiercely, knows the words to every song and sings unabashedly, tries new things even when she’s nervous and generally dances through life. I walked away from the @pennwomen PA Women’s Conference with two reminders I can’t stop thinking about:
✨From Hoda Kotb: “Where you start has no bearing on where you’ll end up.”
✨From Jesse Israel: Choose quiet over chaos.

Both hit home. Our journeys don’t have to look like anyone else’s, and sometimes the best thing we can do is step away from the noise to remember who we are, what we want, and the power we already carry inside.

I loved seeing familiar faces and finally connecting in person with @stephanie_herclub (we had only met virtually!) These pictures are proof that community matters more than ever 📸
