Tickets are on sale today for the 7th Edition of MOMEN&FRIENDS!

Our theme for this edition is Family Heirloom- what makes up a dance family? What are the lessons/ideas/dances that have been passed on to us and what do we wish to send into the future? Every artistic path is winding and while we can’t predict where it will take us, we look forward to spending the weekend celebrating the journey together.

MOMEN&FRIENDS is a weekend experience for dancers ages 18 through 100+ carefully curated to remind you what it is that got you dancing in the first place. Classes, live music, reflection, and special surprises await at the gorgeous Mark Morris Dance Center, September 11th-13th.

Jazzy Tuesday No. 16 - Last One

That’s it, 16 Tuesdays in a row at Downtown Gibney. Thank you to all who supported these classes; dancers, special guests, regulars and new friends. We appreciate you. In case you missed it, in a happy coincidence, Momen is now a Trademark! Yesterday we received our official certificate and the end of Jazzy Tuesdays felt like a good way to celebrate it.

Thank you feels small compared to the amount of gratitude I have for Jazzy Tuesdays and everyone involved. Represented here- a space to dance, to create and to teach. Sixteen beautiful snapshots of New York, of dance, of our beautiful MOMEN. The best thing about a weekly gathering like this is we made so many new friends! Jazzy Tuesday No.15 - Second to Last

With the repetition of this class we’ve grown more connected to our community and we want to thank every one of you for being a part of this.

Although we’ve almost hit every Tuesday since we started, rain or shine, each class has been so singular. I guess that’s the beauty of dance, unique every time it happens. We are going to miss seeing your faces and dancing with you! Next Tuesday, last jazzy Tuesday of this season.
