The Crushers were amazing again today! 7 athletes earned medals for their top finishes! Varsity teams came in third place! @esther_belusko earned another 1st place finish! Audrey, Elian, Tommy, Miles, Cole, and Mateo earned top 30 finishes, but this was my favorite part of the whole day…I had one JV girl. She came to me before her race which was the last race of the day and she said, “Coach, am I running alone again today?” And I said, “No, I will be at mile 1 and mile 2 cheering and giving you your split times, and your team will be everywhere on the course cheering for you!” The team understood the assignment and the varsity girls warmed her up and cheered. I cheered and gave her the split time at mile 1. When I got to mile 2, the course was quiet and dusty and then I saw the team coming down the trail cheering just ahead of her! This is why I coach! Thank you @vhs_xctf for being the kindest, smartest, fastest, bravest, coolest people on the planet! Truly the best! Thanks for being your amazing selves! by @momissofly

Sydney marathon didn’t disappoint. Feeling so thankful to all who support this crazy running adventure of mine! This race was like no other because my training and my race were all about listening to my heart and just running with what my heart had in me. I maintained a steady heart rate the entire time and my strategy was 10 miles comfortably fast, 10 miles slightly faster and 10k even faster. I finished with negative splits and my pace was solid even with the hills. So cool to finish the race chasing @lasala916 who was my training partner in Napa and also helped make this race happen for me! My family was at the finish and they have the post race drill locked in. @antonia_costanzo @gioissofly @bulivn One holds me up, one takes my shoes off, one puts my pants on, and one puts my shoes back on and ties them. 😂 Such a beautiful day to run and I’m so thankful that I got to do this one! Seven stars completed! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 489th of 17,047 women, and 3793 of 44,649 overall! Someday I won’t be able to do this, and today was not that day! Now it’s recovery time! 🏃🏻‍♀️ @sydney_marathon #likeagirl @myracetatts @vdalton1108 by @momissofly
