Happy birthday to my amazing daughter, Shina! ❤️

This girl never ceases to amaze me! She dreams big, sets high goals, and works hard to accomplish them. BYU graduate, fluent in Spanish, runner, home baker, creator, and incredible mother of three!

But what I admire most isn’t all she accomplishes, it’s who she is. She’s adventurous, supportive, tenderhearted, and kind. A loyal friend and wonderful sister who cheers others on, even when her own path isn’t easy.

30 years of Isaac. ❤️

If you know Isaac, you know what a genuinely good man he is. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever heard him say an unkind thing about anyone. He loves big, gives the best hugs, works hard, cheers people on, and has always had a way of bringing our family together.

He is patient, loyal, talented, social, friendly, and the kind of person people just love being around. But of all the things he has accomplished, I think I’m most proud of the husband and father he has become.

At 30, he’s a doctor, a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, and working his way through family medicine residency in North Carolina. Those are pretty incredible accomplishments, but his titles will never be the most impressive thing about him. It’s who he is when no one is watching. The way he treats people. The way he loves his family. The way he shows up and works hard. The goodness that has been part of him since he was little.

Being your mom has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. I’m so proud of the man you are, Isaac, and I can’t wait to see what this next decade brings.

Happy 20th birthday to our baby, Elder Parrish! 🇲🇽🎉❤️

It’s hard to believe our youngest is 20 years old and celebrating his birthday all the way in Chihuahua, Mexico!

Lafe has always been the life of our family. He keeps us laughing, brings so much fun wherever he goes, and has a way of making everything better just by being there. He is the best brother, son, friend, and such a fun uncle to all those little people who absolutely adore him.

We miss his laugh, his jokes, his energy, and just having him around more than we can say. But we are so proud of the way he is serving the Lord and the people of Mexico and of the young man he has become.

Our family just isn’t quite the same without our Lafe in it. ❤️ We love you, Elder Parrish! Happy 20th birthday from all of us back home! 🇲🇽🎂

🩺🩻👨‍⚕️Isaac’s dreams of becoming a doctor started as a child and quietly grew through years of hard work, sacrifice, perseverance, and faith.

Last Saturday we celebrated the realization of a dream that has been years in the making. Watching Isaac balance medical school, marriage, fatherhood, and military service while continuing to show up day after day with determination and heart has been incredibly inspiring and has made me so proud. ❤️

There has been countless late nights studying, moments of exhaustion, and so many sacrifices from both Isaac & Hailee and their little family.

It’s impossible not to feel emotional watching years of dedication lead to this moment of graduating medical school and being promoted to Lieutenant. I have so much gratitude towards Hailee for making Isaac’s dream become hers as well. She is a superstar. 🫶🏼❤️

I am most proud of the kind of person he is devoted to his family, committed to serving others, and willing to work tirelessly for the future he dreamed about.

Tomorrow Isaac, Hailee, and the family head to North Carolina to start residency at Camp LaJuene Military Hospital. ❤️ My heart is feeling everything right now! So much excitement for them and their adventures! ❤️🥰So sad to have them living on the other side of the country. 🥹🥲 So absolutely proud of my son, a doctor, and a US Navy Lieutenant. ❤️❤️❤️

Elder Parrish just finished up his 4th transfer in 🇲🇽Mexico! 🇲🇽 He’s spent the last two transfers training Elder Diaz.
He’s had some crazy experiences including getting bit by dogs 🐕 and his apartment getting robbed. He says that every day they discover more things that were stolen including shoes, voice recorder, toothbrushes, and his gallon of orange juice in the fridge. 😳
A highlight has been going on exchanges with Elder Musgrove from our ward.
He’s loving the people and they take such good care of them. As a mom I am so grateful for that. I love watching his growth and his desire to serve the Lord has grown. 🥰 @lafeparrish43 @pahish by @mommamerrie
