One day, the words they’ve said a hundred times will quietly begin to change. 🤍

“Carry me.”
“Stay with me.”
“Will you play with me?”
“Hold my hand.”

And then, somehow, they become…

“Let me carry that for you.”
“Don’t wait up for me.”
“I’m coming home this weekend.”
“Mom, I think I found the one.”

That’s the beautiful heartbreak of motherhood. While we’re busy packing lunches, finding lost shoes and getting everyone out the door, our little girls are growing into women right in front of us.

These ordinary days may not always feel magical while we’re living them—but one day, they’ll be the moments we would give anything to visit again.

So hold their hands. Sit beside them a little longer. Say yes when they ask you to play.

This version of them won’t be here forever. 🥹
