4.5 months post-bouldering accident and a broken ankle… I’m finally getting my life back! 🥹✨

Driving, walking almost limp-free, and officially retiring my foot/leg toys (crutches, scooter, ice machine—y’all won’t be missed). Recovery’s a grind, but I’m making moves.

Last week, Farmtown Throwdown reminded me just how much I love this sport. Entered Masters, climbed the same routes as Women Sport, and even made the podium next to two powerhouse climbing moms💪🏽🏆 @carla.finn @tanlenggoh

The energy, the battles on the wall, the support— loved every second of it 🥰

Huge shoutout to @sheeplysetting & team for the 🔥 routes and @centralrockhadley for an epic comp. My heart (and ankle) is so full. Climbing, I missed you. So dang happy to be back❤️‍🔥

Jumped into a new movement 🤩

This was a USAC Qualifier Event route for U17M. Psyched I pulled it off!

Not first climb at the grade, but it’s been a while since I hopped on a 5.12/7a. Though, gym is kinda known for its soft sets 🍦😝🤷🏻‍♀️. But honestly, who cares if it’s a 5.10 or 5.12? It’s all about the challenge for me 😤💨.
Shoutout to my “brusher” and for reminding me that it was tough for me, but I still pushed through from “nope” to “yep.”

So stoked about the joy climbing brings me.

Surviving with a busted toe and stubbornly hopping on this with one shoe size 3X too big! Hoping the podiatrist tomorrow won’t kill my climbing vibes 😬🩹#nostoppingme

Vinales, a place I visited 20+ years ago before climbing was developed. Glad to be reconnected with this land again. And, the people of Cuba 🇨🇺.
Cimarrones, pitch 3 of 5.

Flashed my first #highball ✅ yesterday. It’s supposed to be a chill warm up but it took me more than 4 mins 🤦‍♀️

After dozens of PT sesh and painful recuperation, I’m ready to quit. But here’s the conflict: the bouldering part isn’t hurting me so why should I quit bouldering? 💡I just need to quit falling👍
However, in the world of bouldering, that is nearly impossible???!!!

Thank you @bouldandbrash for the spot ❤️ glad you don’t have to put lesson to practice 😅

Some problems take some time to resolve - if you just follow everyone else.
Lesson: always try it yourself before looking at other people’s beta.

Thanks @jenniejariel for getting me on this one. Wait till the end for the 30 seconds solution 🙄 from @boyer_brothers(after I busted my butt off).
