POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

She was many things to us and all of you , I’m sure . We can all agree that without a doubt she was 5 foot 8 inches of love it self.

Since July 1st 1949 when god gave her to this earth he knew her journey would be one of laughter , inspiration and insurmountable impact for those around her.

She was strength , she was power, she was fortitude in the form of a woman.

She was a dichotomy of a woman , she knew when to stick things out to the very end and she also knew when not be bothered at all.

She was peace in any storm , she was guidance when we just ain’t know what to do and when she felt the devil was coming for our family , she was three snaps in the air in the face of the enemy OUR GRANNY WAS A WARRIOR spiritually .

She was anointed , bold, outspoken , respected , admired and envied our granny was THAT GWORL
She was a shoulder to cry on, she was long conversations in the middle of the night , she was the one screaming at the coach from the sidelines in that red folding chair with the hat on, she was support .

She didn’t tell us everything but what she did share with you was always profound she was quick to say NOW I AINT GONE TELL YOU NOTHING WRONG
She was AT TEE TUUDE HONEY , she was a leader, a force for change and held a lifelong commitment to service …SHE WAS A DIVA .

She was too many things to put into words today , and too much FIRE to put in one woman
And now ….. she’s away .

Yes she would want us to celebrate her but she would also want us feel our feelings and CRY I give y’all permission to take your time , to grieve to endure your pain BUT know that if we carry the spirit granny used to impact us all we cannot be defeated by anything even …this grief .

Because she was not one to sugar coat , she was REAL. IN ALL HER MAGIC she was real . She is real and she will always be alive in the legacy we carry as her grandchildren.

She’s an angel now… but to all 14 of us she will and always will be Our Granny Ruby🕊️

Rest in peace to a queen, my Soror Granny and my forever reason why .🖤 by @monaeglobal

In the US women makeup roughly 28% of the STEM workforce. Black people makeup 9% of that. Black women makeup up about 2%. Tech Sassy Girlz provided me an opportunity to help change that this summer. I spent the last few months instructing 2 cohorts of underrepresented high school girls how to Code, run a business and TAKE 👏🏾UP 👏🏾SPACE 👏🏾. 💕

Y’all…. how about El Peñón de Guatapé has 708 steps 🙃 I just like to take the time to personally thank the stairmaster for without It this post would be nothing. What they don’t tell you is the number of steps you have done is painted on the ground 🥴 . I just knew I was close and looked down and saw 200💀 I started gripping the rail like “ I can .. I will… I must .! 😂
