Dolly once said,” I know who I am and I don’t try to be nobody else. And if that ain’t good enough for you, too bad. But I can walk in any room knowing I’m going in as myself and that’ll have to do.”

I'm starting to string that all together as a performer. But living is about who I am without the rhinestones. 💎

When I’m performing less and you miss me (and you better miss me 😉), know I’m okay. Just working on myself and taking care of my gem behind the artist. 🫶🏾

Over 10 years exploring my creative voice through drag, and it’s only in the past two that I’ve really started putting the pieces together.🧩

These days, my performances are rooted in ancestry, guided by what I’ve lived through, and framed by whatever I need to feel a little lighter.

🪴Blooming with an open mind and a bleeding heart [even when that means letting the panic show].🧠🌪️

I feel wonderful 🖤✨#monaeroyalz #doechii #dragperformer #fortcollinsdrag #creativegemm

“There’s the past, present, and future, you gotta put pieces in places. It’s 24 hours. You take part of those hours, you do what you can do, and you go to bed.”

I’ve been resting after an eventful Pride Month launch in Fort Collins. If you catch me off duty at Denver Pride, say hi, and keep an eye out for opportunities to catch me performing in July!

“I declare and I decree, any chain that has been holding me. Any evil tongue that whispers in these ears I said, I rebuke you, you must leave my life, you are not welcome here.”

Happy Pride today and every day!

May your heart be filled with joy to live, love to share, and peace to be your most wonderful self when faced with hate. Go forth and change the world for the better!
