First time chasing King salmon with @vin_gee123 @liketoflyfish was incredible! Pulaski is a strange and special place… it’s a circus, but sometimes I’m a clown 🤡🎣 #pulaski #kingsalmon #salmonriver #lidrig #cortlandline by @monaghan1241

Still riding high from last weekend! Took my mom on a trip with @captainpete613 and he got us both on fish! Every time I fish with Pete it’s always a great time, we stick to the program and keep the vibes high! @mariloumonaghan picked it up quick, we doubled up on bluefish and both caught 40”+ stripers which exceeded both of our expectations. Looking forward to next time, but it’ll be hard to beat this one 🤙🏼🎣🫡

I’ve had the pleasure of floating with @devon_k88 and @boyla_guide_services several times this year. These two are fishy cats and got me my first pike on the fly this year! (First pike on rod and reel, not through the ice) I missed a few opportunities but they helped me stick with it and it finally happened, twice! The hunt for 40”+ continues, looking forward to spending more time chasing these water wolves 🐺

Figured this big boy deserved his own post! Watch out for these turtles on the road this time of year, they are breeding right now and will come out of the water to lay their eggs on dry land. Just got another one off the road today, they’re incredible animals. Also shoutout to @devon_k88 @boyla_guide_services for pulling the boat over so I could say hello 😅 #iliketurtles #snappingturtle #turtle #handlewithcare by @monaghan1241

It’s been a slow start to spring with all the high water and snow melt chilling the rivers. Had a few tough outings but connected with this perfect specimen recently! Stick with the program and you’ll find them eventually, that’s why it’s called fishing, not catching 😅🤘🏼 #browntrout #flyfishing #feedthemtheleech #jigstreamer #springfishing taken in None Ya Business. by @monaghan1241

I’ve spent a bit of time on the ice this year trying to get a pike, last weekend the stars aligned and I put a pike on the ice for the first time in years! My next flag came 5 hours later, turns out that fish was still hungry because I caught him a second time 😂😅🤷🏻‍♂️

Spotted some carp feeding while I was trout fishing this past weekend. Tied some 3x tippet and a leech pattern on my @cortlandline 10’6” 2wt and ended up landing three! The fight in these fish is insane, they’re so heavy and don’t seem to get tired. Glad I caught a few without blowing up my nymph rod 😂🎣 by @monaghan1241

Unbelievable day yesterday with @dmflyguy and @captainpete613 🎣 I was blown away by Pete’s knowledge and passion for these fish! Throughout the day I beat my PB Striper three times, and THEN tied into this 40” dragon! Still can’t really believe it happened, but I can definitely say I’ll be back for more!
