Back to the new Chef Chens Dumpling.
The old mr Chens was acquired by the Chinese Noodle House that “closed down”, sending Sydney normies into a frenzy to make sure they were able to gram themselves, in the most performative sense imaginable, sampling a foreign cuisine before the hype died down.

S01E08 - Good enough for the grid!
I remember @dreschr telling me about @nanjingdumpling, maybe 5/6 years ago, and how the last time he went was from a @hongsta_gram recco, and that he remembers them not being that great… but that we should give them a crack because maybe he was misremembering…
*narrator voice*
“He was indeed misremembering”.
Nanjing has gotta be top 10 best dumpling in Sydney (in my opinion, not even going to bother with an exact ranking, but it’s surely top 10).
The freshness and texture of the casing, coupled with the extremely well portioned filling with attention to detail every step of the way. (The whole prawn in the pork and prawn dumps, like fmd cunce, it’s top tier shit. Honestly).
Anyway. Another week, another Monday of two mates eating Chinese food.
