Soooo I wrote and directed something pretty cool, and then shot it with the coolest people on the planet 🫶🏼 @residencemovie

This is not an expertly curated post. In fact I didn’t plan it, I’m kinda just typing just as you’re reading. This is a post about gratitude, belief, manifestation and collaboration. ✨

First and foremost, this is a post for my crew, who I love with all my heart ❤️ I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for trusting me enough to lead the ship. (IG only allowed me to tag 20 of you)

Secondly, a huuuuge thanks to @panavisionofficial for believing in this project and jumping onboard with full support 🙌🏼

I wrote RESIDENCE 3 months ago, and I was gonna shoot a proof of concept on on my iPhone LOL 🤣

But here we are, with the best camera package on the market, almost 30 crew members deep, and drowning in an ocean of love lol a story time is definitely pending… ⏳

Still trying to process what we just pulled off… I can’t wait for you to see it next year! 🔥🔥🔥

Filming BTS for @residencemovie has me checking over my shoulder more than usual lately… Psychological thrillers will do that to you. But all jokes aside. Proud of my girl @monetmove for killing it in her writing and directing debut! Not to mention landing @panavisionofficial as a sponsor for her first film! Watch out for this one it's gunna give @monkeypawproductions Get Out a run for it's money 👌🏾🎥🖤

When we think of giving back, we often say “don’t forget to send the elevator back down once you’ve gotten to the top”. But how beautiful would it be if we made room on the elevator to take a few up with us? That’s been my philosophy.

I saw a video where @adamgrant says contribution journals are the new gratitude journals and, yeah, I think I agree (see last slide).

Here are some of my favourite things from @ceetoronto, always a pleasure ❤️
