My journey to eliminate over $37K worth of debt took me 2 years and 6 months.

In the beginning I honestly didn’t believe I could do it but my commitment to this process was serious and now this chapter in my life has finally come to a close.

For the longest time, I thought budgeting was about restriction.
I thought having a budget meant saying no to everything.
What I didn’t realize was that budgeting wasn’t taking freedom away from me... it was giving it back.

The moment I changed how I viewed my money, everything started to change.

Financial freedom has allowed me to travel in ways I never thought I could. It’s taken me to places I once only dreamed about visiting.
It’s given me the confidence to leave my hometown, move to different states on my own, and build a life that feels true to me.

It’s allowed me to stop looking at work as something I have to do and start asking myself, “Is this what I actually want to do?”

And honestly, that’s what financial freedom means to me.

Not being rich.
Not having endless money.
But having choices.
Having peace.
Having the ability to live life on my terms, not according to my bank account.

That’s something I never thought was possible for me, but it became possible the moment I decided to take control of my money instead of letting it control me.
