When people who see me fighting for dog rights say - “Nice, keep doing what makes you happy,” I wish they understood I don’t do this just because it brings me joy. I do it because our system, our govt failed us ..... Many like me, step up because someone has to. Because injustice, neglect and cruelty can’t be unseen once you’ve truly opened your eyes. It’s disheartening when educated, aware individuals stay silent, even while knowing what's happening around them. True compassion isn’t just about feeling ... it’s about acting, speaking up and standing for what’s right. If you choose to stay quiet, you unknowingly become a part of the injustice.

Plz Wake up. Speak up! Even if you can't be on the ground ...your voice matters. Use it. Stand on the right side of humanity. Today it’s about dogs… tomorrow it could be something else. Injustice grows when good people stay silent...Stop living in your bubble of comfort. Step up before silence costs us more than we can afford🙏🙏

When my peers chase six‑figure salaries, houses, luxury cars and world trips....perhaps society’s idea of success... I feel richest watching voiceless babies light up with joy at the sight of me. Is that my success? Probably not by the world’s standards, but it’s priceless to me.

Thank you so much for the wonderful response to the dog houses we got made for our street babies. So many of you asked about the cost, so here are the details. 😊

🏠 Cost: ₹6,500 per dog house ( We got 7 made as few of these babies didn’t sleep inside the drums and we were looking at something more durable)

These houses are quite spacious and two friendly dogs can comfortably share one. They are made of plywood and fibre sheets, making them sturdy and durable with an estimated life of 5–6 years.

Since I got hundreds of queries, I got them made by a local carpenter in Gurgaon, and I'm sharing his contact number for anyone interested in getting similar houses made. You can give my reference. Shiv Pratap +91 87268 04357

Behind this rescue was an all-women team 💪🐾

One of us spotted him and reported it. 📞
One got the word out to the right people. 📢
One stood her ground, warned/ threatened the ones who treated him like a toy. 🔥
One who coordinated and brought him to safety.🚗
And one opened her home to foster him. 🏡

Five women. One tiny life. Zero excuses. 🙂🙃

Now he's safe, fed and learning to be loved. But he still doesn't have a name! 🥹

And this birthday, one of my little dreams came true .. little homes for my street babies. 🏠🐾

Maybe growing older is really about leaving a little more love behind than we found.☺️🙏

We all dream of a safe, warm place to call home. Today, a few of my old, young and vulnerable community dogs have one too to protect them from the rains and cold. A heartfelt thank you to my guardian angels / amazing women tribe - Shalini, Mala, Sumanji, Vinniji, Rakaji & Madhu for making this possible.... I know u wanted to stay anonymous but I needed to thank you publicly ❤️

When their tummies are full, they are vaccinated, sterilised and have a safe place to rest, coexistence becomes beautiful.

Celebrating my birthday with the voiceless at a shelter is an experience that touches the soul. Went to meet these furry babies and my rescued baby *Janam* (he was rescued on Janmashtami) ..he's still recovering, still fighting… a reminder of how close he was to death if help hadn’t reached in time. 🐾💔

Taking along toys, treats, medicines but most importantly love and seeing their eyes light up is a reminder of what truly matters. In their silent gratitude, you find the purest form of joy. No gifts, no grand parties… just a heart full of emotion and a day spent making a difference.

This kind of happiness? It stays with you forever...a celebration of compassion!!

The gentle breeze carries the sweet scent of blooming flowers, the chimes add melody, and the warm sunlight casts a golden glow over the entire balcony. As I sit here in my serene oasis, sipping my evening cup of tea, I feel grateful for this little slice of heaven that I've created - a space where I can unwind, reflect and recharge!

There is something about adding greens in beautiful planters that instantly calm and elevate the space and the soul. Adding few colors and pieces add character to the entire space. This subtle refresh of vertical gardening has made my little outdoor space lighter, brighter and a lot more me 🥰 I know I will keep experimenting more, but do drop a heart, if you like my new favorite spot🥰❤️

Not perfect, not ordinary… just unapologetically me.

I love being close to nature and animals. I love to pray. I love spirituality. And every day, I am trying to become a little more grateful, kinder and closer to the person God wants me to be.
