Helping dental practice owners create clarity, stronger systems, and healthier teams through practical consulting, strategy, and support.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Elevating the Role of the Dental Assistant in Practice Success. 🌸

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be joining Blossom Dental Consulting as a guest speaker for their Dental Practice Leadership Study Club on Friday, October 30th!

After nearly 30 years in dentistry, one thing I know for certain is that Dental Assistants have the potential to contribute so much more to practice success than we often recognize.

But unlocking that potential requires more than clinical skills.

It requires leadership that listens, communication that connects, opportunities for professional growth, and a practice culture where Dental Assistants feel valued, supported, and empowered.

During this session, we’ll explore the Dental Assistant’s perspective, the challenges they face, the importance of strong clinical leadership, and how practice owners and management teams can better utilize and develop the talent already within their practices.

We’ll also discuss practical strategies that teams can begin implementing immediately.

As the Founder & CEO of Dental Assisting Collective (DAC), I’m passionate about bridging the gap between Dental Assistants and practice leadership — helping both recognize the impact that a confident, capable, and supported Dental Assistant can have on the entire practice.

Because elevating Dental Assistants isn’t just about strengthening one role. It’s about strengthening the entire dental team.

I’m looking forward to sharing insights, having meaningful conversations, and connecting with fellow dental professionals who believe in building stronger teams.

A special thank you to Blossom Dental Consulting for the invitation!

✨ Meet Monica Watson

Some people have a natural gift for seeing potential in others — and Monica is one of those people.

With her years of leadership experience, passion for communication, and genuine belief in helping others grow, Monica brings something incredibly special to Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Her. — The Experience.

Her philosophy is simple:

Have courage. And encourage.

And I love that.

Because this experience is about more than workshops. It’s about creating a space where women feel supported to stretch, grow, challenge themselves, and discover what they’re truly capable of.

Monica will be helping our women step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, strengthen their leadership and communication skills, and perhaps see themselves — and their possibilities — in a whole new way.

I am so excited and grateful to have Monica as part of our facilitator team. ❤️

I know she is going to bring encouragement, energy, wisdom, and a whole lot of heart to this experience.

Welcome to the team, Monica. We’re so lucky to have you. ✨

Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Her.
20 women. One experience. Your next chapter.

20 WOMEN. ONE EXPERIENCE. YOUR NEXT CHAPTER.

For weeks, I’ve been teasing something I’ve been quietly creating.

Today, I’m finally ready to tell you what it is.

Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Her. — The Experience.

This is more than an event.

It’s a transformational journey designed to help women grow from the inside out through guided workshops, storytelling, wellness, connection, and a supportive community that encourages women to be seen, heard, supported and celebrated.

Over several months, you’ll have the opportunity to explore confidence, wellness, storytelling, public speaking, self-expression, beauty and style, personal growth and more — while being surrounded by women who are on their own journey of becoming.

And then, we celebrate.

The journey culminates in HER STORY LIVE — a red-carpet celebration where women step into the spotlight, share their stories and celebrate how far they’ve come.

Only 20 women will experience this journey together.

And today, the doors are opening.

The interest list is now open.

Joining the list doesn’t commit you to anything. It simply means you want to know more.

You’ll be among the first to receive details, announcements and early access when registration opens in October.

If something inside you is saying,

“Maybe this is for me…”

I invite you to take a look.

Go to the link in my bio and discover the experience.

Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Her.

Your next chapter deserves to be seen.

Gardeners, tell us about your favorite plants and flowers in your garden.

I’m looking to fill a part sunny access area where an old cherry tree was.

Gardening is essentially nature’s functional outdoor gym. Routines like digging, weeding, and pushing heavy wheelbarrows act as full-body strength and cardio workouts.

You can easily transform your backyard into an even more comprehensive fitness area by integrating bodyweight training with natural landscape features or standalone equipment

Gardening is an excellent, low-injury form of strength training. It naturally engages your core, back, and limbs through pulling, pushing, digging, and hauling. These functional movements build muscle, improve balance, and provide a practical, full-body workout.

Routine yard work acts as fantastic resistance training, making it highly beneficial for your body:

Full-Body Engagement: Shoveling soil, spreading mulch, and hauling bags of compost act as compound resistance exercises, targeting major muscle groups in your legs, arms, and shoulders.

Core & Stability:
Bending, stretching, and lifting awkward items require core activation, which improves overall balance and reduces the risk of everyday injuries.

Bone Health:
The weight-bearing nature of walking, digging, and carrying helps maintain bone density, which is particularly effective in preventing conditions like osteoporosis.

Functional Mobility:
The squatting and lunging required for weeding promote flexible joints and good range of motion, mimicking foundational movements that make daily life easier.

Caloric Burn:
Tending to a garden can burn as many calories as a traditional gym workout—anywhere from 165 to 220calories per half-hour, depending on the intensity of the task. by @monicablossomcanada

Strength training is not about esthetics.

Everyone’s journey in maintaining health and strength is different.

Disease and injury does not discriminate.

No one knows your story and no one owns it but you.

One major barrier for women in strength training is body shaming.

In this instagram post, I highlight a text I received from one of my physician colleagues.

This profoundly affected me because we still live in this era where women are defined by their body characteristics rather than celebrated in their journey of health.

Body shaming is the act of criticizing, mocking, or humiliating someone based on the size, shape, or appearance of their body.

It is a pervasive form of bullying that reduces a person’s worth to their physical traits and can deeply impact mental health.

Body shaming has no place in strength building.

Shifting our own internal words about our goals towards vitality and shedding comparison to any other are key mindset shifts that make this barrier of body shaming obsolete.

Women support other women
Allies support women
Women support allies
Together, we shut shame down.

Strength and mobility are the goals.

Stay focused on this as nothing else matters.

There’s no age too young to start thinking like this and supporting others along the way.

My take away from #RichMom Reset 2.0

"This is for the women who don’t want to go wide."

They want to go deep.
The creators.
The manifestors.

The ones who sit in a room and don’t just listen… they build while they’re there.

They champion the women beside them.

They call out the spark when they see it.

They write things down not because it sounds good… but because they know they’re going to do something with it.

They leave with ideas that have weight.

And the quiet reminder of the one thing they’ve been avoiding… that now needs their attention.

This is what happens when you’re in the right rooms.

Your ideas feel possible.
Your next step feels clear.

And you realize you’re already surrounded by the kind of support most people are still searching for.

This is the work.

We build.
We connect.
We create spaces where women don’t just feel seen… they move.

@itsdianadinh and the @mamamasterminds created just that today. A place to breathe, connect and feel seen. A place to feel free to speak our dreams. As moms, as business owners and most importantly as creators.

XO to all of the beautiful women in the room today. taken in Langley, British Columbia by @monicablossomcanada
