Honey Gold is a live audio-visual performance combining original music, voice, and sound design with custom visual collages, designed to invoke states of feeling good, meditation, and relaxation. It sits between a concert, an art installation, a sound bath, and an invitation to let go.

Our lives are busy and the world is intense. We designed Honey Gold to be an experience built to help you feel more like yourself: a place to let go and relax while forming your own interpretation of the journey.

This Sunday, October 18th, join us for our debut New Orleans show at the @marignyoperahouse along with the projection mapping and live light painting of @monicakellystudio.

We are so excited to share the Honey Gold Experience with our Nola friends! Link for tickets in bio or comments below! We hope to see you there.

“Snug Revisited”, 40+ year retrospective of Snug Harbor, curated by Lawrence Sieberth, visuals by Monica Rose Kelly by @monicakellystudio

We are so proud to announce that we are the VERY FIRST artists (and all women team) to put art on the walls of the Ernest N. Morial New Orleans Convention Center! We’re halfway through our mural and can’t wait to unveil the finished vision.

“Heartbeat of the Crescent,” is one of just 70 works selected through a public open call that received thousands of submissions.

Created by Lillian Aguinaga, Monica Rose Kelly, and Sasha “Swan” Kopfler, the mural is a love letter to the city we’ve spent years growing and creating in.

Congo Square is the focal point of our composition because it carries the sacred past, present, and future of cultural expression in New Orleans.

Every brushstroke has meaning and every detail has a story. Stay tuned for our progress!

This project is being curated by Dumez Development Group, and we are represented by The Ella Project. by @monicakellystudio

The first mural is being painted in the Convention Center and we are super excited to showcase these 3 artists’ talent! https://bizneworleans.com/convention-center-opens-permanent-art-collection/ @mccno @nano_llc @sosh.0 @lillianaguinaga @monicakellystudio by @monicakellystudio

Thank you @nolafunkin and @studiowaveland for inviting me to exhibit in this beautifully curated show.

The two pieces selected for “A Little Off Center” reflect very different chapters in my life. “The Great Shift” was painted in 2020 after an experience with gun violence. It imagines the nurturance of a future without the weapons industry that feeds our country’s thirst for blood. A conceptual painting born of the catharsis from grief to hope.

“Jaleo Flamenco” is a live painting, full of energy and motion. It captures the gesture and rhythm of percussive flamenco dance and guitar, created in-residence at @nolajazznhp

Both paintings are heavy on the processing. One digested trauma and pain, the other captured a moment of expressive joy. I’m grateful for this opportunity to present two wildly different, transformational perspectives in the same space.

Big thanks to my ride or die @sosh.0 who drove out to the coast with me and celebrated with the best crab legs buffet ever ft. @bubsgumbo 🦀😍 always in it for the plot by @monicakellystudio
