Hey friends!! It's been quite a while since my last introduction and I thought it was time to get reacquainted. My name is Monica and I'm a Dallas, Texas native, a dog mom, wife, nature lover, wellness enthusiast. I'm also a Personal Brand Photographer for purpose-driven entrepreneurs who want vibrant, magnetic images to help them shine online! There are a lot of things in life that I love, as you'll come to see, but some of my favorite activities aside from photography include neighborhood walks & trips to the park or market with my husband and our fur-baby April, writing/journaling, relaxing days at home, creating fun lattes & mock-tails and ALL things self-care. Not quite sure on what kind of props to include in your brand photoshoot? The items you choose can, not only, enhance the look of your personal brand images, but, also help you give context or connect with your ideal clients through shared interest. Here are some examples on the types of props or accessories to include: - what you like to read or listen to (books, magazines, audiobooks or a podcast on your phone) - things you like to do on your free time (journals, puzzles, candles, crafts, workout gear) - products connected to your industry or brand, or something your currently promoting or launching - physical or digital (example: a yoga instructor & her mat or blocks, etc. or a wellness coach releasing a new guide or course could bring along a digital or printed copy of their nutrition guide as well as a prepped recipe or ingredients from the guide) - jewelry or accessories that are on brand and express your style - Your faves (snacks, drinks, outfit, plant baby etc..) The options are endless, but, I hope these spark some ideas to help you when planning your next brand photoshoot! This was the trip I didn’t know I truly needed! I joined Jose, my husband, on a work trip to Utah and had no idea the beautiful hikes and views I was in for! Driving up Big Cottonwood Canyon road alongside the creek and waterfalls was amazing and only 30 minutes in from Salt Lake City. I was so grateful for this little getaway from the Texas heat, and to get to spend some much needed time outdoors. The hardest part of making this highlight reel was deciding what to leave out. Save this for when you need a reminder to shut off your laptop & get back in nature, I know I did! 🌥🌱🤍 Next up, Florida... taken in Salt Lake City, Utah by @monical.martinez
