Happy 22nd birthday to the soul who has felt like home to me for as long as I can remember. Somewhere between growing up, late conversations, hard seasons, and healing moments, you became so much more than just my cousin. You became the person who stayed.
The person who saw me clearly when I couldn’t see myself. The person who loved me gently through the versions of me that were hardest to understand. At some of the lowest points in my life, you never tried to change me or rush my healing you just sat beside me in it, reminding me who I was until I could find my way back again. There’s something so rare about being loved by someone who listens without judgment and cares without conditions, and that’s the kind of love you’ve always given so naturally.
I don’t think you fully realize how much of my strength has traces of you in it. You’ve influenced my life in the quietest but deepest ways. The way I love people softer, the way I keep going when life feels heavy, the way I try to stay true to myself in a world that constantly asks us to become someone else so much of that came from watching you.
And watching you grow this past year has been such a beautiful thing to witness. The success, the milestones, the accomplishments, the life you’re building for yourself at such a young age — it all feels so deserved. Not just because of how hard you work, but because of the kind of heart you carry while doing it all. Some people achieve success and lose pieces of themselves along the way, but you somehow continue to grow while remaining genuine, grounded, and full of love.

You have always been someone people lean on without even realizing it. A quiet kind of light. A steady presence. The kind of person who makes life feel softer just by existing in it.

22 looks beautiful on you already. I hope life continues opening doors for you that you once only dreamed about. And no matter where life takes us, I hope you always know how deeply loved, admired, and appreciated you are.
