New York City is a magical place for art and artists. Last night I got to experience some of that magic in the form of @celissemusic. For the first time in a long time, I just wanted to let my spirit do what she asked on go on journey. And boy oh boy did I need it! What my heart, my mind, my soul got to experience was extraordinary. Sometimes as artists we get buried in the 'going' and 'doing' of it all and lose the feeling. I am grateful to have been a place to feel and be reminded that we all have a place. So thank you to @deelizlab for the invite! Thank you to @sarabareilles for putting this talent in the spotlight! And most of all, thank you to @celissemusic for being so raw, open, and honest! It was a joy to experience and I can't wait to see what comes next! ✨️

About last night:
Went to a cute listening party with @deelizlab in Brooklyn @fortherecordbk. If you're into music and vinyl, this place is a vibe. They have delicious pastries and drinks (caffienated, non-caffienated, & alcoholic) that help you stop, get off your phone, and enjoy the sound. We were graced with the opportunity to get an early listen of the new @sarabareilles album, which is heavy and funny and soul-stirring. Highly recommend both.
