The last 6 months has been a mixture of blessings and pain.people only saw the blessings cause I chose to hide my pain…and after all said and done I still lost my only sister.

Not questioning God but I know this is not fair.
What sin did she commit that was so bad that he couldn’t forgive her and let her suffer this much?smh. by @monicaogah

Incredibly, this was the last song we recorded for the I’M BACK EP, and honestly, we didn’t even see it coming.

I had been watching the incredible sacrifices Ice King’s father has been making for his son, and at some point I said, “I think we should do a song for him.” A song to appreciate his love, support, and everything he has put on the line to see his son’s dream come true.

And that song came about.

Recording it was deeply emotional for me because, with my dad no longer here, every single word pierced my heart. There were moments I had to leave the room, cry, gather myself, and come back to continue.

Some songs we write. Some songs we feel. ❤️

I truly honor Ice King’s parents @king_mo_adah and queen MO for their sacrifices and unwavering belief in their son. May God replenish, strengthen, and reward them, and may He perfect everything He has started.

And Ice King, I am so proud of you. I know where we started, and seeing where we are today reminds me that it can only get better.

Over the years, you have not only given us incredible music, but you have shown the younger generation what is possible, taught us how to listen, how to create, how to think, and how to tell our stories through sound.

From the very beginning, at age 7 I saw the passion.I saw something special in Ice King Ochacho , and I knew it was a gift worth nurturing. ❤️

I recognized the talent, believed in the vision, and decided to take this journey with him — to work, create, grow, and watch the dream unfold. And what an incredible journey it has been! I have genuinely loved every single bit of it.

Today, seeing the work begin to speak for itself and watching the seeds we planted start to bear fruit fills my heart with so much pride. 🥹❤️

But this is only the beginning. I will continue to pray, continue to work, continue to believe, and trust God to perfect everything He has started.
