It has been my greatest privilege to serve our community. Together we have faced some of the biggest challenges, and while I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, there’s still much more to do.

I’ve launched my campaign for City Council and I would be honored to have your support. No contribution is too small and if you live in the City of Los Angeles your contributions are matched 6 to 1. Visit www.MonicaRodriguez.com or the link in my bio to donate today. by @monicarodriguezla

So many moments over the years and I am thankful for each and every interaction. Thank you @doloreshuerta for your example. You were a force of nature that lived every moment and every opportunity to leave this place better than you found it. by @monicarodriguezla

❤️ I am honored to have been sworn in last night for my third and final term representing Council District 7.

I am proud to be the first Councilmember in our district to serve all three terms, the first Latina elected to represent CD7, and the third Latina ever elected to the Los Angeles City Council.

This milestone would not be possible without the trust and support of our community. Thank you for allowing me to continue serving the neighborhoods and families that make CD7 so special. by @monicarodriguezla

Thank you for the lifetime of lessons, memories and love. You gave us everything. You taught me how to show up for my family, friends, and community. I will miss you everyday. by @monicarodriguezla

Don’t let the heat get you down! We are so fortunate to have terrific pools across the city, but of course there’s something unique in CD7! Cool off at the Hansen Dam aquatic center this weekend with the family. Check out our paddle boats. Affordable family fun in the largest municipal pool in the country! by @monicarodriguezla

It’s official! Thank you CD7! ❤️ by @monicarodriguezla

It is the greatest privilege of my life to serve my community. Thank you @lalogarciafineart for this magical piece Virgen Monarca. The history of this country is the risk that so many took to find their opportunity here. Our families deserve protection and dignity and I’m grateful for the community that continues to entrust me to fight for them. Thank you Lalo, I will treasure this always. by @monicarodriguezla

Last week I sprinted to multiple watch parties to celebrate the excitement around Mexico vs Korea. From Sylmar to Koreatown and Casa Mexico the festivities were nothing short of spectacular. Encourage you to join one of the wonderful watch parties across our city. Thank you to my friend @lilylacatrina for her unparalleled style and talent celebrating Team Mexico🇲🇽 - she is 💯 Team Los Angeles! 🥰❤️ by @monicarodriguezla
