Last night was magical. Heritage Supper Club opened its doors. Beautiful tasting menu or pop into the lounge for à la carte. Incredible bar and botanical menus. The art....oh my. You have to see in person. Run and make a reservation now before the word gets out. by @monicasolsen

Airport drop off. Des Moines. No lines. 😍Bye, bye team #vanlife 🚐 Until next time. by @monicasolsen

Six. Comfort Plus Campsite did us right. Offered us cookies at checkin, had a dog run (future note), water, power, and just off the hwy. And owls!! #vanlife by @monicasolsen

Heading to stop #5 in Saskatchewan. Green farm and ranch land for miles. Lovely canadian prairie. Lush. Silos. Yellow canola flowers everywhere. Making lots of oil. Flowers reach their peek in mid July.

Due to our Calgary Stampede stop, pulling in after midnight to a dark campsite. No power in the van, making coffee with the camp stove. Morning rain so it was a brief stop. #vanlife by @monicasolsen

Calgary Stampede 🐴🐂🇨🇦

The largest rodeo in North America.

We bought tickets to the rodeo but got stuck in Banff fixing our auxiliary battery. We did make it to the fairgrounds, exhibits and of course the Team Cattle Penning Championship.

Lots of fun and a great tip from Francis & Loretta whom we meet on the way to Jasper. More on them later. 🚐 #vanlife by @monicasolsen

Banff, campsite 4. Amazing mountain ski town. Views of mountains all around. Our campsite has lovely view of Hoodoos. We drove the Icefields Parkway. It's non stop spectacular scenery. 10/10 highly recommend. North America's jewel. #vanlife by @monicasolsen

Just one of the insane lakes in Alberta along the Icefield Parkway. No filter, all nature generated.

Glaciers grind down bedrock creating silt rock flour. When washed into meltwater, it creates stunning turquoise lakes. #vanlife by @monicasolsen

Jasper was devastated by a fire in 2024 caused by lightening. It's coming back beautifully. Nature has its way. 🚐🇨🇦🪻 #vanlife by @monicasolsen

Iceland? Almost. Waterfall tip from our campground mates. 40 minutes out of the way. Worth it? #vanlife by @monicasolsen
