They say karma never forgets anyone and I truly believe that. Karma has no menu you get served what you deserve. 🔄⚖️
Today I thank God for allowing me to care for my 93-year-old mother, Carmen Maria Melendez the best mother I could have ever been given. A woman who gave everything, who loved unconditionally, and who planted love in every stage of our lives.
Life, in its harsh way, has brought her dementia… a sad and painful condition that only those who live it up close can truly understand. Watching memories fade hurts seeing names disappear hurts but true love never fades.
As Mahatma Gandhi once said: ‘The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
Caring for our parents is not an option it is an act of love, gratitude, and respect for everything they did for us. They deserve patience, tenderness, and protection not neglect or mistreatment.
Today, more than ever, I choose to remember all the beautiful things my mother did for me and to give her love in every moment.
Because in the end, life always puts everyone where they belong and karma never loses its way.
And there is a truth no one can escape: time reveals who loved, who cared and who simply turned their back when they were needed the most. And when that moment comes, there are no excuses, no forgetting only the consequences of what was sown. 💛🙏🏼✨ Those who understand, will understand. 🔄 #Karma #caregivers by @monicat1017

Me siento inmensamente bendecida y agradecida por tener a mi mamá, con sus 92 años llenos de sabiduría y amor, todavía conmigo. Este fin de semana tuvo la dicha de venir a mi oficina y ayudarme con las plantas del frente, como solo ella sabe hacerlo, con paciencia, cariño y ese toque especial que solo una madre tiene. Gracias, mamá, por todo el amor que me has dado siempre. Le pido a Dios que me permita disfrutarte por muchos años más. Eres mi mayor tesoro. 💖🌿🙏
