Four years ago, just before moving to Barcelona, I had the opportunity to spend an entire summer capturing horses. From a very early age, I was, and still am, obsessed with them. After completing this body of work, I always dreamed of one day showcasing it in a gallery to give more visibility to my fine art.

Yesterday was an absolute blast. The feeling of seeing my work displayed in the largest paper store in Europe after nearly five months of preparation is indescribable. Two hours flew by and felt like just two minutes. Knowing that my friends, clients, my partner, and even strangers took the time out of their busy schedules to come and see it is the greatest reward. It happened in the best place, at the perfect time, with the help of the most amazing people.

Yesterday I proposed to Uma to take our portrait together. She only agreed if we created something similar to Annie’s Leibovitz photograph of Leonardo Dicaprio with the white swan. So we tried our best.

This doesn’t even include 5% of the portraits I’ve taken, or the brilliant people I’ve had the chance to photograph along the way.

Portrait photography is the kind of work that makes me feel the most alive — in every sense.

There is a magic in meeting someone, getting to know them a little, and trying to capture their essence.

I’ve always admired the world of jewelry. Seeing women wearing lots of pieces has always been one of my weaknesses.

And I got super lucky because, over the last 4 years, I’ve had the chance to photograph so much jewelry work.

My portfolio grew alongside my fascination with this world, day by day.

Thanks to @evagomezvirgili I got into it so deeply that there’s really no way out anymore. Just keep discovering, photographing and admiring these little pieces of art until the end.

I started shooting architecture for the first time when I was living in Los Angeles.

I was mesmerized by the beauty of the buildings and houses around me. Topping that up with my crazy love for architecture, I started capturing it.

And the journey continues to this day.
