The power of makeup was never just about looking better. It became so much more than makeup, it became part of the woman I am today. It helped me survive one of the darkest chapters of my life. I fought hard for my freedom and peace, and makeup played a bigger role in that than most people will ever know.

What started as a coping mechanism, an escape from reality, eventually became my turning point.

I know there are people out there still living the life I once lived. My advice is simple: don’t stay in a place where you’re slowly losing yourself. Staying almost cost me my life. Today, I’m trying to heal, thriving, and finally at peace.

I rebuilt my confidence. I reclaimed my freedom. I chose myself. And that decision changed everything. taken in Singapore by @moninamonisha
