POSTS STORIES REELS

This is the kind of room I’m always grateful to be in.

For the second year, I had the opportunity to lead Retail 101 for the @latinasinbeautyofficial Accelerator—and spend time surrounded by founders, creators and some really incredible people in beauty.

Beauty is fun. Beauty is culture. Beauty is business. And beauty is by and for everyone.

Thank you Nadine, Margarita, Emily and the entire Latinas in Beauty community for having me. My cup is full. 🧡🩷 by @moniquehbenoit

40. 🤎

Birthdays don’t quite have the same excitement for me that they used to. Maybe that’s getting older. Maybe it’s realizing that life doesn’t always unfold the way you imagined it would.

But turning 40 has had me thinking about what matters to me now—and what I’m still learning along the way.

✨ Ambition comes with tradeoffs. I love building. I love creating. I still have big dreams. And sometimes that ambition has meant I wasn’t as present as I wanted to be. I don’t think the answer is to stop dreaming. I’m learning to be more intentional about choosing, over and over again, what matters most.

✨ The best investments are people. Titles change. Careers evolve. But the relationships you nurture, the conversations you have, and the memories you make with the people you love—that’s the real return.

✨ I’ve stopped trying to fit into one box. I’ve always had multiple passions. Career. Mom. Beauty. Fashion. Singer. DIY-er. Writer. Some seasons one part of me gets more attention than another, and that’s okay. Every part of me doesn’t have to get equal shine to still be part of who I am.

✨ Joy deserves to be celebrated. I’m very good at moving on to the next goal. I’m learning to be just as intentional about stopping to experience the life happening around me. Gather the people. Take the pictures. Say the kind words. Give people their flowers while they’re here to receive them.

So, cheers to 40. 🥂 by @moniquehbenoit

Before you land on a price, ask this.
Will this price make a shopper pause—or invite them to try?

Your pricing should feel just right for your category, packaging, and positioning.
Too high can create doubt. Too low can make people question the quality.
The goal? Price to build trust and drive trial.

Founders: Would your current price stop you from buying?

Pitching a major retailer?

Then you need to know this:
You’re not just selling a product—you’re selling confidence to a merchant who manages a multi-million dollar category.

Remember when Instagram was a photo diary of your life?

I miss seeing less filtered versions of people I know IRL on this platform

Life is not perfect. Life is full.

Working full-time, being a 38 year old woman, and having four daughters is a lot to balance and juggle. I often get asked. How do you do it all? The better question is often: What do you do for yourself?

The truth is always… I’m going to do what is necessary for my children. Unfortunately, sometimes that comes at the expense of myself.

No one can truly do it all. We all make daily trade offs

I had a few moments for me recently- a trip to New York to see a concert with my cousin, meet up with a friend to visit Printemps, and speaking at my alma mater.

I still return home and do the necessary things like hair, cooking, cleaning. I volunteered to be a coach for a reading competition at Brielle’s school. Reyna & Brielle decided to get baptized. I choose to put on a face most days because it brings me joy.

Things done, but not pictured: video group texts, dinner club, work, my walking desk station, and much more. Be well yall 🖤 by @moniquehbenoit
