Thankful for the gardens I’ve watered. They’ve continued to bloom in the sweetest way💕

I honestly don’t even know how people find me half the time (IYKYK 😂) yet every day this week I’ve been reminded of how loved I am by the best mama, partner, family, and friends.

The source of my deepest hurt passed away on NYE.

I spent my (biological) father’s last 100 days reconciling & recognizing the facts. Instead of replaying hurt & shame from his absence, I chose to change the tape deck and make a new song. One with a melody of forgiveness & peace— knowing I couldn’t cozy up to pain anymore.

Grateful to be surrounded by love—in both my upbringing and in this present moment.

Although I’m currently exhausted, my spirit is lighter. Selah by @moniquermay

My friend, Ms. Nobie is turning 100! She got jazzy today at the hair salon. @doctormone_ and I call her every Saturday morning to catch up on the week. So happy she’s making it to this milestone ❤️ by @moniquermay
