@moniqueshull and I were honoured last week during UN week to meet with Senator Aubyn Hill @aubyn.hill, Jamaica’s Minister of Commerce and Investment - at the Jamaican Consulate with @jackiejjackson, Ms. Jackie J Jackson, Jamaica’s Film Commissioner, and @dobizja Jampro president @shullettecox Shullette Cox and Consulate General Oliver Mair, along with fellow Jamaican filmmakers for an in-depth conversation on Jamaica’s growing film industry, opportunities for filmmakers, talent and crew, and how to elevate projects on a global stage. We spent Fourth of July with @macys on the rooftop. They threw an epic Fourth of July party for America’s 250th Anniversary , and @joshshullshoots had the privilege of working with them again this year. He and his team help produce this amazing event and of course, we get to reap the benefits of his late nights. 😂 they had a great music lineup. 🙌🏾The fireworks were absolutely fantastic and there was food!! I’m a week late (as usual) but screaming HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY to our 1st born Jacob Lee Shull @jacob_lee_shull - we had a great time celebrating you in Jamaica @princessgrandjamaica - we traveled all over the island visiting family and swimming with dolphins @dolphincoveochorios , and snorkeling and searching for the best jerk chicken and ice cream. Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful mom. A.k.a. nurse White. 🥰 . Who passed on her love of flowers and photography to me to make me the person I am today. My first camera was given to me by my mom when I went off to boarding school so that I could have pictures of me and my friends I was one of the only kids to have a camera back then ( before everyone had phones). I remember my mom paying to get my camera film process when I came back from the holidays… I didn’t understand at the time how special that was; that your parents would use their hard earned money to develop film that was possibly not gonna have amazing photos. I do now! But, I do remember us having lots of fun taking photos together. I love you mom, thanks for letting me pick all the neighbors flowers coming home from church on Sundays 😝🥰.
