Our Cocoa💜… You really messed us up with this one and all the preparation in the world will never prepare a child to lose their parent(s). All month I’ve been trying to find the right time and moment to post and share this devastating loss and I’ve come to realize there’s never a right time.

Coke, you were so much more than a mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend… you were as real as it gets, genuine and authentic, a rare soul. The only comfort I’ve found in losing you is knowing you’re now back with our father; your husband and love of your life. Knowing you up there letting him have it for leaving us so soon makes me smile. Thank you for your love and encouragement and thank you for my siblings @_.kennyb @doingourparteveryday_ your spirit will carry us through anything that comes our way. Watching Kenneth carry your casket the same way he carried our father’s is a different kind of pain. Watching both Nakyia and Kenneth hold their heads high through the entire process has given me a new found appreciation, love and respect for them both. We will honor your legacy Coke and we will remain locked in. I heard everything you said to me over the years and I promise to never let you down. I am my brothers/sisters keeper.

Congratulations to my baby, my heart, my son. We all love you so much and are proud of the smart young man you’re becoming… Yesterday was perfect and I am grateful to every single person who showed up and celebrated with us. 🥹💙

Extremely proud of my son KINGSTON for being chosen to represent his school’s 6th grade students today at the district’s Career Day. He is a born leader, honor student and my wildest dream. Young #King 👑

Listen, it tastes 10xs better than it looks🔥I don’t even know what to call it but the way the flavors marry together OMG 🤤. And yall heard me say the KIDS ate it!? (You know it’s good when the kids eat it.) They ate more than I did 😅…
- marinated chicken breast & thighs
- shrimp
- cabbage
- onions
- heavy cream
- olive oil
- butter
- garlic
- Parmesan cheese
- jiffy cornbread (YES Jiffy cause I know yall love to tussle 😒) (also yes, I know cornbread negates that it’s low carb, so don’t add it, I did cause I’m a big back 🤷🏽‍♀️)

Hands down 10.5/10 @messyeatsblog this recipe was amazing you did ya big one per usual 👏🏽🤏🏽🤌🏽
