PART 1
Crazy adventures with my main man, ugandan legend, Wamala. My 12th east african tour was soon ending and we were still waiting for an official permission to go paint this strategic highway spot. So we went and painted it anyway. Without official written permits. Multiples patrols came to inquire on us and everytime they left without arresting us nor asking for a bribe. Pure magic. "Fragmented Dissolvation' with maestro Wamala
.
We painted this on the side of an important highway in Kampala, Uganda without any official written permission. 4 different municipal and federal police patrols came to inquire on us during the process and 4 times in a row we jedi mind tricked them into letting us finish without any bribes.
This piece speaks of our multifaceted identity and the need to dissolve our ego to obtain our highest collective potential. taken in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa by @monk.e_one

In my early relation with Uganda, my brothers Zex and Gucchi baptized me with a Muganda tribal name. They renamed me Ziwa from the White bird clan. Fast forward 8 years later, I came to do a collab live painting with young star huzartstudio. After the event I went back to the car and this white bird, symbols for my tribal name, was patiently waiting for me under the car.
I approached and he did not flee. He stayed and allowed me to pick him up and pet him. My friends told me that they never experienced something like this. These birds are usually unapproachable. It felt like a confirmation that I truly incarnate my new ugandan identity. 🤣🤣🤣🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊 taken in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa by @monk.e_one
