I want to extend a deep thank you to the people who support my creativity through listening to Monki Moto Pod.

Amazing that 147 people listen to my podcast as their #1 podcast this year. I hope my content, stories, and messages from guests bring you joy, entertainment, and connectedness.

This was more than I asked for. I hope I'm still doing a good job, telling the stories of the motorcycle people.

Ah, the beginning of summer. The cycle continues, and I lived another year to tell the tale.

Thank you to all for the birthday well wishes and salutations.

This year has been challenging for me in different ways. I set out to do risky things, bet on myself, help and care for those who may be lacking, take responsibility, build mental strength... and most importantly, proceed with love.

Wisdom that was passed to me from my elders has started to sink in. Yet, I have much to learn. But now I can say my glass is overflowing.

I had to improve the relationship I had with myself a long time ago and am now reaping the reward of such work. I'm surrounded by great friends and people that I can count on. Everything worth having takes an expense, and the value gained is so worth while.

Trust the process, and know that time cannot be wasted in advance. by @monki.moto

Locked in for the past few months. Hit some easy single track with @mark_jardiolin. Cute little flowers everywhere. Yey

I've been distanced from social media for a few reasons. The good thing is, I've been busy with my ventures. There's a lot of good to be found outside. I set my sights on new goals for 2027. Some minor failures in the past few weeks, but no worries. I've known how to adapt and overcome.

My first tattoo by Sydney Dyer @white.trash.flash

I wanted to try a tattoo because I felt like decorating my body with imagry that is important to my culture. Finding an artist I'd like to support plus like the art style as well was a bit challenging. Plus someone who I can get to rather easily.

I found Sydey online and immediately liked her work, when she announced she is coming to San Diego, I hit her up. She drew this tattoo so perfectly and experiencing tattoo with her for the first time was a breeze.

I wanted the Alaskan wild rose and the Arctic forget-me-not flower. Our state flower (forget-me-not) and a flower (Alaskan rose) I saw as a matron of my childhood. I'd like to add on some rosehips since that part of the plant is used in our traditional medicine. I love how this turned out!

I'm an artist by trade and I'm so grateful to have a beautiful piece of art on my body to honor my Alaskan culture. Thank you, Sydney 💛

One of Mark's best buds, actually first riding buddy, Mike @ricecakeftw is on his way to his first race the @biltwell 100.

We told him to get some seat time at the MX track and on the trails. He showed up and put in the work.

Earl has a cool eye for pics 📸

Supermoto Championship R2, P12 of SM2 class. Racing with the big boys! My race was uneventful since I was in the back. I crashed in practice on the dirt jump but no other drama this time. Looking at the fastest guys, I'm going to have to drop 25 sec to even compete, -12 if I want to be with the mid pack. Honestly, I was just having a great time riding, I did not bring a fight this time

I have never been able to handle loss well. It upsets me emotionally and my internal world takes a tumble, sometimes over and over.

Motorcycling taught me so much about life, about people, about how to earn my place, and be humble about the mistakes I make. Death and loss are a part of life and saying "goodbye", doesn't always mean being able to say "how are you?" again.

Rode up the crest and met friends I haven't seen in a while for Rafa's Celebration of Life. Funny how death brings people we love together.

First @sra.gp on my XC150w.

Practice, great, small surprises around the track. Overshot a turn behind the Arroyo and hauled the most ass I've ever hauled in my life on the big hill on the main.

Race, 2 dirt naps and stuck on a burm. Even with bad overall results, I'm proud of myself. Stuck all my ruts, got great exits. Was able to tango with another rider and faster than a rider from the novice group, until my nap.
