My nickname has been “blommekind” for years even before I started making jewellery - just so you know!🌷

I’m Mon, the maker behind Mon Makes, and I spend my days collecting, pressing and preserving little pieces of nature and turning them into jewellery. I still find it pretty special that I get to do this for a living.

I’ll be bringing a selection of my botanical jewellery to @the.kindredmarket on the 4th of October - from earrings and rings to pendants and little one-of-a-kind pieces.

A little bit of sunshine, captured in jewellery.🌻

It’s amazing how something as simple as a sunflower petal can be so beautiful once it’s preserved.

A few of my clients have described these pieces as “joy captured in jewellery” or like having a little sun ray with you - and I honestly couldn’t agree more.

From birth flowers to ashes. From sunrises to sunsets.

Created with a white cosmos petal and a father’s ashes, this ring was inspired by memories of sunset walks on the beach and a love that never truly leaves us.

Especially after Father’s Day, I’m reminded what an honour it is to create pieces that carry love, memories, and the people we hold closest.🤍

✨To the beautiful Kindred Market community✨

What an absolutely incredible season this has been - more than a market, it’s become a true community of creativity, kindness, laughter, great music, and so much joy. A place where we don’t just sell alongside each other, but genuinely celebrate each other’s wins and support one another’s businesses in the most special way.

I’m beyond grateful for every friend I’ve made here. (I sadly couldn’t fit everyone into this reel as some were busy with customers and others couldn’t make the final market, but please know I appreciate you all so deeply!)

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Ashby and Noah for creating and holding such a magical space with so much care, patience, and love - the Kindred Market is something truly extraordinary.🥹
