A new celebration of creativity and community is coming to Monmouth County! We’re thrilled to announce Culture Around the Corner! A new 3-day festival of arts, food, music, and cultural discovery happening October 2–4, 2026 in Long Branch, NJ. Produced by Monmouth Arts and supported by funding through the @newjerseyeda A.R.T. – Phase II Grant Program, this new festival celebrates the artists, artisans, performers, and diverse voices that make our community extraordinary. Over three days, the festival starts with a festive kick-off at Long Branch Public Library, moves into a full day of performances, global food, and activities at the Main Festival Grounds, and wraps at The Whitechapel Projects with a Folklife Market showcasing artisans and cultural goods, there’s something around every corner to discover. Come together with your community, discover something new, and experience it all. by @monmoutharts

We're officially halfway through another incredible summer of Creative Expressions! ☀️🎨Over the past several weeks, we've watched young people across Monmouth County explore their creativity, build confidence, make connections, and discover new ways to express themselves through the arts.As we celebrate the midpoint of the season, we're also proud to share a major milestone: since launching the program, Creative Expressions has reached nearly 3,000 youth participants through free arts and wellness programming in our community.A heartfelt thank you to our amazing partners, teaching artists, mental health professionals, and participants who make this work possible every day. CURATOR HIGHLIGHT: Tova NavarraWe are so excited to have award-winning artist, writer, and educator, Tova Navarra curate our annual member exhibition, FEAST. Tova Navrra is the author of more than 30 books, including New Jersey Artists Through Time and the forthcoming New Jersey Masters: A New Legacy of Visual Arts. New Jersey Masters presents more than 100 images of their compelling work, accompanied by brief, pithy reviews. Readers will discover many known and unknown artists working in your own cities and towns. Tova has exhibited extensively throughout the Northeast, including solo exhibitions in New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey, while continuing to contribute to the region’s cultural landscape as a juror, curator, photographer, and writer.Applications are still open for FEAST, the Monmouth Arts Annual Member Exhibition. What an incredible evening celebrating “The Sun, My Heart,” the first solo exhibition by artist Summer Deaver. 🌞✨Friends, family, and supporters gathered at ArtSpace to experience a collection that explores the unity of opposites through contemplative mark-making, luminous oil paintings, and hand-burnished printmaking. Summer shared the inspiration and process behind her work, offering a deeper look into the thoughtful practice that shaped this beautiful exhibition.Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this special milestone and to Summer for sharing such a moving body of work.
