Day 5: Tires, Alignment & First Drive 🏁

This is the final prep video before the track.

Today we finally got the Miata mounted on fresh tires and headed over to Monrovia Alignment to get everything dialed in properly. After days of wrenching, late nights, and learning as I go… this was the first time the car finally started feeling complete.

And of course — we had to take it out for its first real drive.

This whole build series has been such a huge learning experience for me. Usually I’m the one behind the camera filming other people at the track, but now I’m building and driving my own car for the first time.

I hope you guys have been learning and enjoying this build journey as much as I have.

Next video… we’re finally at the track. 🏎️💨

Part 2 of building the Gundam BRZ: Ran into some wheel fitment issues, but got it resolved quickly by cutting the car more 😅

After dialing in the rest of the suspension, the car is now ready for a full color change! Stay tuned for the next episode
