Stacey - The Play

Stacey Greenwood dreams of swapping the Leyton Dance Championships, for the glitterball glamour of Strictly Come Dancing.

Hot, skint, and wildly ambitious, she knows fame is only one pas de bourrée away. But first she must survive, cursed auditions, dead end jobs, a dodgy agent, and a “bestie” who steals both her choreography and her trophy. Snake behaviour.

Armed with killer moves, cabaret gigs, and levels of confidence that should probably be studied, Stacey is determined to escape the Jobcentre and cha-cha her way to the top, no matter who she has to outdance, outshine, or unfollow on the way there.

Stacey is stepping out and you’re invited to witness.

My new solo show ‘STACEY’, is coming to the Courtyard Theatre (40 Pitfield Street, London N1 6EU) on the 6th, 7th and 8th August at 7:30pm.

‘STACEY’ is a one-person comedy work in progress —think Strictly Come Dancing, think late-night TV chaos, think BBC Three vibes! It’s silly, camp, funny, and full of glitz and glamour💫✨🪩
