Another glimpse into fear and the unknown, penned by those who dare to imagine it; I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Happy October.

#DarkBooks (TLH): #GodfatherDeath.

"I will make your son rich and famous, for he who takes me as a friend lacks nothing."

Synopsis:
A very poor man seeks a godfather for his youngest son. He rejects God for distributing wealth unfairly and the Devil for deceiving mankind; ultimately, he accepts Death, who is just and impartial toward everyone.
When the boy grows up, Death makes him a famous physician, giving him a healing herb and revealing strict rules regarding whom he may and may not cure, warning that breaking them would bring doom upon himself.
The physician's fame grows until he faces extreme moral dilemmas when the king, and later the princess, fall gravely ill. Consumed by ambition and guilt, the godson decides to defy his godfather's rules, fully aware of the consequences.

In the end, we all meet the same fate.

#DarkBooks (TLH): #TheRedShoes.

"And when the priest intoned the hymns, and the choir joined in, and the organ began to play, the girl thought there was nothing more beautiful than her red shoes."

Synopsis:
Driven by vanity, a young woman buys a pair of red shoes and shows them off during her community's solemn celebrations; as punishment for her disrespect, a curse compels her to dance ceaselessly across fields and through forests, day and night, unable to remove the shoes or stop moving. Finally, an executioner takes pity on her and, with his axe, frees her from that macabre dance.

A small price with a heavy cost.

#CuadrodeCaritas (#TheLouderHouses): #RonaldaLoud, #RobertaLoud & #RomanaLoud.

The triple surprise.

Born on a busy day, they surprised the whole family right from the start, and who knows what new surprises the future holds.

Shortly after they were born, it was time for the triplets to have their photos taken; ranging from big smiles to expressions of surprise and tears, they showed off their unique personalities and their desire to be together.

This small collection of drawings took me longer than expected; in addition to the artwork itself, I had to deal with various personal issues. However, drawing always manages to lift my spirits, even if just a little. Thank you so much for viewing and commenting.
