With everything going on in the world, I felt compelled to write this science fiction thriller, #Objects. Today I finished the first draft, writing it in one month. This is the most political, feminist, and surreal story I’ve ever written. And I have big plans for it. Limited locations, psychologically chilling, and mind-blowing twists and turns. Here we go! by @monte_light

Just wrapped up my new #screenplay, and I’m thrilled with the feedback!

“This #eroticthriller is a neo-noir revenge story with:

- a strong queer female POV
- a morally compromised “fixer”
- a dangerous, grotesque villain
- and a sex-work / digital-persona world as the visual playground.

“A cam-girl/VTuber, her stripper girlfriend, and their lawyer boyfriend turn a crime lord into the star of his own real-time downfall to avenge a murdered sister.”

It’s lush, operatic, erotic, and violent, with a poly, consent-aware, emotionally intelligent triad. Toffy shines as the emotional adult in the room, and the poly conversation is nuanced [and] humorous.”

Taking it back to the absolute darkest and best vibes! 🖤 Seeing @evanescenceofficial live at @thekiaforum last night was a literal dream.

Amy Lee’s vocals pierced through the whole arena. 🤘✨The energy was unmatched.

If you get the chance to catch the Evanescence 2026 World Tour, do it! Thank you for inviting me @jamielynntran.

Reorganizing my office, and found my old rejection letters from 16 years ago. Never give up on your dreams. You will get somewhere, as long as you keep working.

Back at the keyboard and diving into the most ambitious project I’ve ever tackled. 🚀✍️

Officially rewriting the first third of Midnight of the Second Sun, and then moving into writing new material. It’s a complex, high-stakes outer space sci-fi, but with a twist: it features a Regency-era style arranged marriage.

The players? The children of two galactic Robber Barons—the CEO of a massive terraformation empire and the leader of a central digital currency bank. Think Pride & Prejudice meets Gundam, where corporate monopolies clash, etiquette is weaponized, and a forced alliance dictates the fate of the galaxy.

Rewriting a world with this much scale, intricate economic politics, and tight character tension is definitely testing my limits. But getting back into the groove feels incredible.

To my fellow writers: what is the most challenging trope or concept you’ve ever tried to write? Let’s talk in the comments!🏷️

So proud of my extraordinarily talented friend @deborah_lsmith. The documentary she produced @sellyourhousefilm had its LA premiere at @danceswithfilms. It is one of the best movies about making a movie you will ever see. by @monte_light

Seeing a legend under the stars at the historic Greek Theatre! Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band put on an absolute masterclass of rock ‘n’ roll.

The energy was truly unmatched, proving once again that peace, love, and great music are timeless.

The All Starr Band lineup delivered hit after hit.

A massive shoutout to the legendary musicians on stage:

🎸 Steve Lukather (Toto)
🎤 Colin Hay (Men at Work)
🎷 Warren Ham (Toto/Kansas)
🎸 Hamish Stuart (Average White Band)
🥁 Gregg Bissonette
🎹 Buck Johnson (Aerosmith)

There is nothing quite like hearing Beatles classics, Ringo’s solo hits, and the iconic tracks from each of the band members all in one unforgettable night. ✌️🌟❤️
