A Colombian coffee tradition that was nearly impossible for most Americans to experience. by @montealegrecoffee

We’re back. And we’re stronger than ever.

August shook our land, but it could never shake the spirit of our people.

Back in the mountains, back among our coffee trees, and back doing what we love most.

The journey continues.

Montealegre, from Colombia, with resilience. 🇨🇴☕️ by @montealegrecoffee

There are moments when words feel insufficient.

Today, our thoughts are with everyone across Colombia affected by this earthquake. In times like these, we are reminded of the fragility of life and the importance of standing together.

To our collaborators, their families, and every community affected: you are in our thoughts, and we stand with you.

We will do everything within our means to offer our support in the days ahead.

We’re officially SOLD OUT ☕

Thank you to everyone who grabbed a bag and trusted Montealegre Coffee. We didn’t expect this kind of love, and we’re beyond grateful.

The good news? Fresh batch dropping May 21st. by @montealegrecoffee

❌Don’t buy this coffee. Seriously.
DON’T❌

Because once you try it, most other coffee will taste burnt and boring.

Montealegre comes from tiny Colombian microlots grown by a family with 190 years of coffee tradition.

The result? A smooth, naturally sweet cup with notes of rich fudge, grapefruit, and caramel, with no bitterness.

These are just a few of the steps our coffee goes through, carefully done, so you can taste nothing but the absolute best.

We document it all so you can be part of every moment, and ensure full traceability. ☕ by @montealegrecoffee

This is what’s behind the coffee.

People, places, and a lot of work most don’t see.
From Norte de Santander to Quindío to Huila .

Every lot goes through a long process before it ever gets to us.

It’s built on 190 years of family coffee and experience.
We taste a lot and keep very little.

Just coffee we actually believe in.

Did you know you’re drinking a fruit? 🍒

What you see here are coffee cherries and yes, they’re just as real as any fruit you’d find at a market. Inside each one hide two seeds. Those seeds are your coffee beans.
But here’s where it gets special: when farmers in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia hand-pick only the ripest cherries, those natural fruit sugars transfer directly into your cup, giving Amor its notes of Caramel Popcorn, Fuji Apple & Dulce de Leche.

Nature grew the fruit. We just let it shine. ☕ by @montealegrecoffee
