On one’s recent search for perfect postboxes for #montesmailboxmonday one took a delightful detour to the fringes of Birmingham Airport and after gazing blurrily into the sky was thrilled to experience the arrival of an Emirates Airbus A380. She-Who-Knitted-Us was very brave at her MRI scan this morning so one took the poor old thing out for coffee and a sticky bun before heading homewards. One may have had a minuscule nibble oneself, purely for quality control of course! 🩷🐻 this is unpaid and is not an advertisement.

One has just had the most fabulous fun and frolics @nationalbrickevents in Leicester. We were even granted special access all areas permission and met some of the Ewoks from #starwars. Bienvenue to #montesmailboxmonday ! It’s been a while, one was feeling a little blue under the beret and some of our stuffing fell out, but we are back!
Today we have returned to our absolute favourite EiiR postbox and are somewhat alarmed by its high-tech upgrade 😱. One popped down to have a quick chat about it with some passing footie players but the Ref kept shouting handball! All one can say to that is #allezlesbleus 🇫🇷 ⚽️. Whilst onboard the #usmidwaymuseum the woolly little fellow popped by the post office, deep in the bowels of the ship, and had a wonderfully enlightening chat with the postmaster. Many apologies for the non arrival of last week’s #montesmailboxmonday but as you can see one went aboard the #midwaymuseum in San Diego CA with He-Who-Tolerates-Us and one ended up in The Brig! The bathroom facilities were somewhat below par but one did manage to spot some rather unusual postboxes. Enjoy!

Welcome my dears to today’s #montesmailboxmonday. The woolly little fellow would like to show you this particular US Mailbox as it is situated in the quirky town of Oatman, Arizona. Clarke Gable and Carole Lombard honeymooned here in the Oatman Hotel (where the chief décor is currently dollar bills) and donkeys roam freely amongst the tourists and do their utmost to step up onto the wooden sidewalk and enter the shops. The town does have a distinct aroma, but is so unusual and a fascinating place to visit. Enjoy! This is unpaid and is not an advertisement.
