I’m often asked how did I get here and how did I train myself…

🏀 Got to college and found out your athletic ability only goes so far and being a shooter was the easiest thing to be stopped. Will never forget complaining to my dad for the first time in my life about not playing to which he said, “You can either quit or go take the spot.”

🏀 I took everything personal… Remebered every frustration and CHOSE to work through it so it wouldn’t happen again. Too earn minutes, I showed my coach I could guard 1 on 1 full court before any of my offensive talent could be displayed and forced my coach to HAVE TO PLAY ME to help the team. I learned to take adversity on as a challenge and not a fear.

🏀 Many of my workouts were very SIMPLE! Learned how to master my body , mainly connecting my hands and feet to my movements.

🏀 Worked through hundreds of game scenarios with my imagination and put my mind into that game feeling so I could learn different reads and then be able to APPLY it in pick up, practices , and games. GO AND PLAY! You need to learn creativity and experiences in tandem with training.

🏀 Everything matters… You can’t cheat growth… you have to love it and be obsessed with what’s next. Routine, mentality, weight room, diet and hydration, sleep and recovery are all huge, but remember to find balance between too much pressure and success to avoid burnout. IT WILL NEVER BE EASY BUT MAKE THE PROCESS FUN❤️🤞🏽 #hoopdreamz by @moo__too
