Sunil Sharpe is one of techno’s true people. Known primarily for his fast-moving, skillful style on the decks, he has carved out a unique place in the scene, representing electronic music in a range of different ways - as a DJ, producer, label owner, party organiser, radio host, writer, educator and nightlife advocate (@giveusthenight)

Sunil’s reputation as a “turntable wizard” is long established from his early days as a DJ in Dublin (when local competition was fierce and word of mouth meant everything).

We cannot wait for him to christen The Cellars — Drogheda’s newest venue. This venue is very intimate and has a small capacity of 125, so get your tickets quick!

🗣 DJ ADHD | @wigwamdublin

After recently shutting down Holly Boulevard with @followthefishtv, we’re delighted to be bringing over DJ ADHD (@djadhd.mp3) to Wigwam for his Irish debut on Sat 9th December.

//
Over the last couple of years DJ ADHD has carved a unique sound with 909s & 808s, music that blurs the line between techno and UK bass; gathering support from @skrillex, @richiehawtin, @floatingpoints, @cariboumusic and @s_p_e_c_i_a_l_r_e_q_u_e_s_t, to name a few, as well as having @fourtetkieran feature a remix on his EP, ‘Steamin’.

//
🎟 A limited amount of €6 early bird tickets are on sale tomorrow, via @resident_advisor (link will be posted tomorrow), then we move to €10 online tickets, and €15 on the door.

❗️SUPPORT ACTS / COMPETITION TBA

Blaze is BACK for 2026 and this year we’re flipping the script. 🔥

We’re hitting refresh and launching into a whole new era, starting with our first stop on the journey: The Blaze Pre-Roll.

On March 7th, we’re taking over The Racket Space for another one of our infamous, multi-genre, day-to-night link-ups, and this one is built different. We’re bringing together some of our favourite crews to soundtrack a full 14-hour ride through the best in underground sounds. Expect energy shifts, genre switches, surprise moments and that signature Blaze atmosphere from start to finish.

We kick off at 1PM and we’re rolling straight through to 3AM. No breaks. No script. Just raw underground energy.

Pull up early ( entry is FREE before 10PM ) and settle in for the full journey.

Blaze 2026 starts here.
Don’t just hear about it after. Be there for the ignition.

When: Saturday 7th March
Where: The Racket Space
Time: 1PM – 3AM
Tickets: €7.50 (Free entry before 10PM)

Secure your spot. Rally your crew. Let’s set the tone for 2026. 🔥

A MASSIVE thanks to all the crew from the DGM @droghedagroovemovement who played a absolute blinder all weekend during the brilliant @lu_festival_of_light_drogheda outside Bigmoon HQ @bigmoonrecords
They brought all the positive vibes and quality tunes and proved what a super organised collective group of music loving crew they really are 💪 Done on a complete voluntary basis and only for their love of the town and playing dance music and all done with a smile!

If you passed by you'll have seen the countless people stopping for a bop and participating in the good vibes, it was fantastic ❤️ Kids love House music 😀

Big thanks to all the @visualspectrumstudio crew too
Especially Ryan and Katie for providing the DGM guys with any support and equipment needed and being brilliant through out!

Also not forgetting Kelly and Trevor @lovedrogheda Thanks guys 💙💜

Hopefully next year will be even bigger and better. 🫡 taken in Bigmoon Record Store by @mood.drogheda

We continue our bi-weekly spotlight on Irish collectives, keeping the torch of club culture burning bright.

From Derry to Dublin, Cork to Galway, and Belfast, these crews are keeping Ireland’s club culture flame burning, pushing beyond the traditional club night, thinking outside the box, and sometimes smashing it entirely to build something new. by @mood.drogheda

Sunil Sharpe is widely regarded as one of Ireland’s most influential techno DJs. Known for his relentless energy behind the decks and deep-rooted dedication to vinyl, he’s carved out a respected space in underground dance music—both at home and across Europe. Rising from Dublin’s pirate radio and grassroots club scene in the late ’90s, Sunil developed a style defined by fast, precise mixing and a fearless, hardware-heavy selection that pushes boundaries while staying true to the raw core of techno.
