We had the opportunity to speak with an entrepreneur class at Gwinnett Technical College and share our journey from corporate to building something of our own. What started as an idea has grown into a business that serves our community in more ways than we could have imagined and we’re still learning every day.

We talked about the real parts of entrepreneurship… the parts people don’t always highlight, but every business owner experiences. There is purpose in what you’ve been given. With consistency, care, and excellence you can build something that not only sustains you, but serves others too.

We’re honestly still in awe of all that God has done in just 12 months. 2025 was a living, breathing reminder of what happens when obedience meets alignment. Doors opened, favor flowed, and growth happened in ways no human plan could’ve orchestrated. This year showed us that when God is in it, acceleration follows. And that provision follows planning!

We’re overflowing with gratitude for every person who supported, prayed, showed up, shared a post, waited in line, or simply believed in the vision. You are a part of this story and we enjoy so much getting to know our community!

As we step into 2026, we’re moving with expectation, faith, discipline, and big joy, trusting God to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ever ask or imagine. Today is such a special moment for NAiled It Bow Co. because Nuri and Autumn officially made their FIRST SALE! 🎉

What started as a little idea has turned into something so special, and watching these two little entrepreneurs bring their vision to life is a proud mama moment I’ll never forget. 🥹💗

Even sweeter, our first sale was from our We Wear Pink Collection, created in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎀🏈

We’re teaching our girls that entrepreneurship isn’t just about making money. It’s about creativity, confidence, hard work, and believing that even the biggest dreams can start small.

We’re learning that good stewardship sometimes requires stepping away from DOING long enough to think, plan, pray…and then lead. And sometimes that looks like two sisters, hashing things out over breakfast because we had a BOGO coupon! #truestory

We meet so many amazing people who come into Mood, and a lot of you ask us about our transition from corporate careers to becoming full-time entrepreneurs. And while that story is definitely a testimony (because whew…God 🙌🏾), there are SO many layers to this entrepreneurship thing that we don’t always talk about and honestly, they’re not all as inspiring.

One of them? Learning the difference between working IN your business and working ON your business…and realizing that the two are NOT the same.

As owners, there is alwaysssss something to do. Navigating the needs of your team, customers, vendors, emails, calls, inquiry after inquiry…and don’t let your equipment start acting up! The truth is, the day-to-day will take every minute you give it. But busy doesn’t always mean productive.

So here’s the message: Whatever it is you desire to build, or are already building...MAKE TIME to ask: What’s working? What isn’t? What needs your attention right now? What opportunities are in front of you? What are you building toward?

The past few weeks have brought such a renewed energy to Mood, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We’ve welcomed so many new faces through our doors, and when we ask, “How did you hear about us?” so many of you say, “Someone told me I had to come.” 🥹

There is truly no greater compliment than you enjoying your Mood experience enough to share it with someone else. Your word of mouth continues to help our little café grow, and we don’t take that for granted.

With all this new excitement, our weekends have been busier than ever! If you’re planning a Saturday visit, just know that 10AM–1PM is typically our busiest window, so wait times are longer and indoor seating can fill up quickly! We do have outdoor patio seating available, and weekday visits are typically a much different pace if you prefer a quieter Mood.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness to our team, and for continuing to choose us. And a HUGE shoutout to our incredible Mood crew who have been working hard, moving fast, and still doing their best to make every person who walks through our doors feel welcomed and cared for.

We are truly thankful people so first we must thank @livethemargot @djmase7400 @icesolicious @tym3lessphl and @emoryrosephotography for coming out and helping us celebrate our one year anniversary! Just like many have expressed, we too can’t believe that it’s only been ONE year, it definitely feels like three! 😮‍💨😂🙏🏾 But that’s just it, people often see something that’s working and think it happened overnight. Never do they realize the years of planning, praying, sacrifice, long nights, countless meetings, spreadsheets, emails, conversations, paperwork, closed doors and “no’s’ before the “yes” that changes everything. But God!! 🙌🏾

One thing about kids… they’ll tell you the truth. 😂

So when one of our favorite little Moodies decided to practice for his future YouTube channel by reviewing his favorite waffle from his favorite café… we’d say that’s a pretty big deal.

Moments like these remind us that what we’re building reaches beyond coffee. It’s becoming a place where memories are made, confidence is encouraged, and even the youngest entrepreneurs feel inspired to dream a little bigger.
