Etched Echoes is a performance art piece part of the collaborative project between @wabisabiproject and The Oddly Evolving Collective⁰ titled 'What color was the River?'
It speaks of the language of hand block prints. From the wooden block carver right up to the block printer, everyone speaks this exquisite dialect. A dialect of unspoken understanding, a dialect of deep intuition and a dialect of spectacular wisdom. A dialect passed on from one generation to the next through lived and shared experiences.
What Color was the River?' is a work in progress telling the stories of our People, our Land and our Art from an inner, almost reverent space of Being.

During the Residency, performance artist @moodee.dee immersed in the craft of block carving and the social, political and sentimental context in which it exists, paying tribute to the block carvers and their deep, unspoken connection to their Craft

'Yaksha'

is the bridge taking form between The Oddly Evolving (T.O.E) Artists Collective and Advanced Nature. It is a synthesis between bodies that speak through contemporary movement, circus arts, theatre, and living art pieces that recite a poem of sustainability, circularity, and a structural revolution raging with an indomitable spirit. Here, the lines blur between art, science, design, and life.

Yaksha is a performance, a ritual, and an invitation to witness, remember, and engage with an ancient conversation that is silently ongoing within the endless expanse of our inner beings.
