𝗠𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝘄/ 𝗝𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹Back in 2018, there wasn’t much happening in Breda when it came to Future R&B, Eclectic Soul, Club Edits, and Sounds of Africa. We decided to take matters into our own hands and launched our very first edition in late 2018 at Pier15. Free entrance, two DJs, and our good friend Gaidaa performing her very first live show—it was the perfect recipe for a solid foundation.Over the years, we’ve listened closely to our community and tweaked this recipe along the way. The pandemic gave us two years to really reflect on what we wanted to offer Breda. So after all the lockdowns, we came back with a bang! We invited our favorite DJ, Jarreau Vandal, and he tore down Pier15 exactly as we expected.Since then, we’ve welcomed many incredible DJs from all over Europe for our events and festival hostings. Think of Full Crate, Dave Nunes, Santo (🇨🇭), Ekany (🇧🇪), Sham Steele (🇬🇧), Franky Sticks, DJ Sueside, and many, many more.Now, in 2026, it’s time for our 7-year anniversary—and what better way to celebrate than by returning to where it all started, with a refined formula. MOOD W/ FULL CRATEAfter our edition of MOOD w/ Wantigga we immediately locked a new date for the next MOOD: June 9th. We love seeing how many of you are eager to visit R&B events in Breda and want to continue building a community for R&B, Eclectic Soul, sounds of Africa and everything surrounding those genre’s. This time we’ll do that by bringing out Full Crate! Over the past decade the independent artist and producer Full Crate has been a major force in the uprising of underground music, developing his production, writing and live show level in the process. The multi-talented Full Crate has released a string of songs that proved him to always be ahead of the curve. With his roots in Hip Hop & Soul culture, Full Crate has a firm spot on the forefront of forward thinking electronic music from RnB to Dancehall inspired music. With this background he worked on production and remixes Beyonce, Syd (The Internet), JoJo, Shakka, and many others including Rihanna that used his songs in her Savage Fenty show 2 years in a row.Full Crate will be hitting the cities Berlin, Hamburg, London, Gent and Amsterdam in that order to end his headline live band Europe tour in Melkweg, on June 8th. Luckily, we managed to get him for a DJ set the very next day at Pier15 where he will be closing out the night.Before Full Crate hits the stage, you can find Iris Rooth behind the decks. She will be coming over from Tilburg to spread her love for afro and amapiano with us and is ready to play you some gems! 𝗠𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝘄/ 𝗦𝗵𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀Wicky Wiseguy and Lolo together make: Shmood Operators. What started as a B2B at one of the first editions of MOOD, has grown to a household name in the scene. Make sure to check them out tomorrow at the Mezz!Wicky Wiseguy is a DJ from the southside of the Netherlands. Interested in music from a young age, the diverse global music landscape helped him shape his music taste early on in his life. Wicky’s goal is to share his love for these different genres through DJ-ing. A typical Wiseguy set will take you on a musical journey, visiting different sounds from soulful to club bangers.Lolo is a talented DJ with a passion for music that developed at an early age. He draws inspiration from a diverse range of genres including R&B, Soul, Afrobeats, Baile Funk, Garage and Jungle to create a unique and refreshing sound with a lot of dynamic blends. Lolo also is the founder of MOOD, where the genres Future R&B, Eclectic Soul and Sounds of Africa take the foreground, to connect people from all around the world and give them a much needed safe haven in the south-side of the Netherlands.
