Things I made for my fam this week.

Lasagna soup
Red beans and rice
Biscuits and sausage gravy
We boiled crawfish yesterday and I took the leftover corn, potatoes and Conecuh and added shrimp to make a soup.

My parents were Yankees (clutches pearls) can u even imagine! And their cooking was bland central, USA. I was raised in Louisiana since I was 1. I’m a completely self taught cook. It’s is one of the privileges of my
Life to cook for my family. My 17 year old junior (my favorite of my 3 kids) ships off for basic training for the Army Reserves basic training. I know my time cooking for him is limited. My daughter is an adult and mother and when she and her boyfriend come to visit I send them home with an ice chest of frozen meals.

My favorite child #iykyk and his best girl had junior prom last night. @bumpcity76 did a great job shopping for Thomas’ fit. I had the pleasure of making @lil_rose_m bouquet even though it was a little ginormous. They both had a great time and that’s all a Mama can ask for!! taken in Daphne, Alabama by @moogie7800

🌟 For the past few years I’ve started and ended the year reading a STEPHEN KING book. My dad was a huge fan of his and I do it as a way to remember my dad.

What book should I read to end the year off??? 🌟 #stephenking #booktok #bookstagrammer #books taken in Daphne, Alabama by @moogie7800

Best drummer in Alabama. Maybe the world.

This kid is the pride of my heart. He has been wanting a band “drum kit” for several years. Last night his wish came true and he absolutely crushed it. I’m not just saying
This because he’s my son. He is a truly talented drummer! #drummersofinstagram
