As a child I always wondered why you wasn’t around … Wish I had you around … NEEDED you around.

Got a little older and we would always some how speak for weeks … then not speak …. lol

Then I got older, had my 1st child …. And then she was diagnosed with cancer . I told you one day, then you drove down from Chicago the very next day….. when I NEEDED you most, you showed up and haven’t left my side since then … everything before that didn’t matter !

I’m truly thankful not only the relationship we built, but the relationship you built with my kids !

Pops, lol you lived on HELL of a life .. all 26 of them lol

It’s so hard to say goodbye .. but I can say goodbye without ANY regrets.

Zamirah now has her “pop pop” !

I’m going to miss you, man! I love you ! REST UP

This name holds weight… and I’ll carry it 💪

💛Me and Zamirah would watch Martin all the time ! For me, laughing was one of many ways that could help me keep it together while she was undergoing treatment .

🏥 Here, we were at the hospital .. we LITERALLY lived there because we were here more than we were at our own home .

👉 I decided to use this vocal chop on every track I create because she always called me crazy and she loves @martinlawrence just like I do😂 .. it’s one of the few times I could stand to hear her little laugh w/o breaking down .

👉 Her voice is and will continue to be heard because she’ll forever live through my music !

😇 I love and miss you my love !

A song built to reach new listeners needs a different plan than one made for your day-one fans. Watch to learn the 5 song types (Discovery, Fan, Live, Sink, Catalog) and match your promo strategy to the outcome you want.

This is the last day of September, also better known as childhood cancer awareness month. The past couple of months, I have lost two people near and dear to my heart, so it was pretty challenging for me to speak on the subject.

As many of you may know, we lost our first born daughter, Zamirah, at the age of five to a form of childhood cancer. Throughout this journey, my family, and I watched multiple kids, that we knew personally, lose their lives to this disease as well.

Life got in the way a little bit and knocked us off track when it comes to giving and spreading awareness to the childhood cancer community. And in this season of our life, we’re getting back to the mission that God has blessed me to be one of the leaders in.

Zamirah, the world will continue to remember your name… not only yours, but the little angels who are up there in heaven with you who have lost their lives to this disease as well.

Quincy Jones didn’t make Thriller by accident.

He made it because he built a real relationship with Michael Jackson first.

I think that’s where we lost a lot of the LOVE and FEELING in today’s music

If you’re a producer trying to build something that lasts, save this carousel and read it twice.

The relationship comes first.
The sound follows.
Always has.

I used to think more beats = more sales. 🤦🏾‍♂️
Then I realized artists weren’t ignoring my music. They just didn’t know I existed.
So I stopped chasing and started building. Sound. Content. Cycle. Repeat.

💨The AI music game is moving fast. If you’re not paying attention, you’re already behind.

I put together the 7 AI apps every producer, beatmaker and independent artist should have on their radar in 2026.

From Suno generating full songs in seconds, to LALAL pulling clean stems out of any track, to iZotope giving you industry standard mixing inside your DAW… these tools are changing how we work. Not replacing us. Giving us leverage.

The producers who learn to use AI as a co pilot are the ones who’ll move faster, ship more and build stronger catalogs.
The ones who ignore it? They’ll be the ones still asking “how’d they do that?” in 2027.

Swipe through, save this for later, and drop your favorite AI tool in the comments 👇🏾 I’m building a full producer’s stack guide and want to hear what’s actually moving the needle for you.
