Happy Anniversary Moomoo! 26 years……wow! Thank you for loving me even when I know it wasn’t always easy. Thank you for always showing up and doing the work. Thank you for always protecting our family and showing the kids what a great husband and dad looks like. Thank you for leading our family as God would have you to do it and always consulting Him first! Was it perfect? #buckleup #itislong So my goodbye to gymnastics couldn’t be held to a few characters on Instagram so I wrote it through the season whenever I could and had time. Lifelong memories and friendships are not only made for the gymnast through this sport but also the parents. And once they hit college and season is January through April- our season is also January through April. We look forward to this time of seeing all our babies and cheering them on. So when it comes to a screeching halt, it’s nice to be able to say good bye and pivot to our next chapter in our lives. It’s been a great journey and I wouldn’t change a thing. Girlfriend…… what a difference a year makes! This year went by so fast. Actually the last nine years went by fast. You have had an incredible Gymnastics’s career and I am so proud of you. You have set many records and had a lot of firsts in your career. You started freshman year and won a ring and ended senior season winning a ring. What a blessing it has been to watch you live out your dreams in real time. And watching Him keep His promises to you as you kept your promises to Him has been the greatest gift as a parent. #nothingtoprove I was reminiscing all morning and it came to me that you really only have one more meet/floor routine. It kinda blows my mind! (Future post on that coming) But I wanted to let you know that you kinda already competed the Biles 1 A. Your whole senior high school season and B. level 10 Nationals. C. In college. So go to this meet next week free and joyful and clear minded. No matter what you do we are so proud of how you have grown as a gymnast and human being. $#familyovereverything Had a blast seeing everyone this past weekend. Thanks to all who traveled to see @g.breezy8 lin person one more time! The support you all have given us over the last 12 plus years has been amazing! Whether it was coaching her, medical, helping to drive her to and from practice, buying a leotard, praying for her through the surgeries , and being a positive part of our village- WE THANK YOU! Her dream wouldn’t have happened without all of the love and support. And although this is just a small fraction of her village shown here, you guys have always made sure she has had someone in her corner to support her dreams and I am grateful.
