Lots of people cook … others feed people. And, there are a rare few who truly nourish us. That’s what I experienced the first time I met Marine Peuvion … nourishment.

I walked into her little restaurant in Todos Santos. The menu was pretty and the environment was casual, clean, and super grounding … even on the second floor and rooftop. The food was simple, colourful, organic, and deeply kind.

Marine creates and serves the kind of food that makes you appreciate how everything tastes better when someone cares about every detail.

When Marine closed her restaurant, which you will learn about in our interview, she adapted and found other ways to nourish people.

She makes meals, bakes cakes (she’s made my birthday treats a couple times), creates pies and kombucha, cabbage and carrot ferments, and the most amazing pink habanero fermented hot sauce and sells them at the farmers’ market.

She also delivers meals weekly. If you know the Todos Santos area, you know no delivery route could be a quick one. Dirt roads, distance, hot sunshine, and human logistics would absolutely make most reconsider the idea. And yet, every Tuesday, Marine shows up when she says she should and somehow delivers the most beautiful meals across this wide, dusty landscape with a (great) smile and (warm) hug.

Marine loves food in the way that matters … it’s not a showing off or a trend, she appreciates that it’s energy, care, and nourishment that moves from one human to another. You can also book her to cater and she will create a “healing buffet”. Food is medicine and Marine embodies this.

In our interview, you’ll learn where she came to “design” her food, how she ended up in Baja after growing up in France, how she learned to cook, how sweet her SIX dogs are, and what makes her cry. If you’re local to her, you might find your next Tuesday ritual and if you’re not, let Marine remind you what food can be when it’s made with intention and joy.
